I wonder how much it would cost to have delivered to the UK seeing as the New XL works out to £135 which is cheaper than they are priced now for the old ones.
About £20-£30 according to Auspost. This is for Air Mail.
Edit: you'd want it registered. According to Auspost, registered international post is ~£24.40 for a package weighing 500g to 1kg

Both are less than 500g, I wonder what the UK rrp will be.

With the box and packaging there's a small chance it could tip the scales over 500g, so I went with that.
UK RRP will maybe match up with current models: £150 and £180, but knowing Nintendo Europe...
£180 and £210, second screen sold seperately.
Congrats to Australia. This is probably one of very few times where you guys actually get something before EU and NA. I'm currently in the market for a second 3DS so it definitely would've been nice to be able to pick this up on the day I buy AlphaSapphire. I guess it can't be helped.
Just to mess with you guys, Australia was listed as part of "the North" in my geography book, due to it being one of the wealthy developed countries, which are wont to be located in the Northern hemisphere, with "the South" being generally underdeveloped or developing.
BTW all Aussies: this announcement means that you'll lose your right to complain about later release dates and higher prices for at least an year.
Currently on the plate:
Mount and Blade: Warband – Napoleonic Wars
Chivalry
Super Mario 3D World – Finishing the last few levels.
Mario Kart 8
I think here in NA at least, they want to focus on the Wii U and move units. I could be wrong. The other thing they announced three new 3DS XLs, not too long ago. The 3DS is selling like crazy whereas the Wii U is not selling as well. But man I really want a NEW 3DS. Oh well I don't have the money for one right now anyways. Too many games I want this year.
Want: Harvest Moon: One World, Story of Seasons: Pioneering Town, Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury
Finished the Alola Dex.
Now playing New Horizons, Wrath of White Witch and Sword

Now that you mention it, I think that's what it actually is.
That makes a lot of sense. Smash 3DS will probably devour Smash Wii U sales already if there's no transferring Wii U exclusive characters/stages onto the 3DS version, add New 3DS launch in there and Smash Wii U may as well have been delayed to 2015 on the front of sales.
