Topic: Audio jack wear out quickly with frequent plugging in and out of Headphones

To clarify better, if I plug in and remove my headphones frequently, will this cause my audio jack to wear out very quickly causing it to lose its ability to hold or properly connect to headphones?

In terms of frequency I would estimate a plug in and removal will be done once a day for the foreseeable future.

It would probably eventually wear out, but that wouldn't be for quite a while if you're just doing it once a day..

Considering I got my 3DS in November and have plugged my headphones into it multiple times per day and it's still doing okay, I don't think that'll be too much of a problem.

@Irysse: My thoughts exactly. It seems pretty sturdy.
