So, tried the demo and quite enjoyed it. Was quite surprised how much story there was compared to gameplay, but maybe I've been spoiled by other recent demos. It's very wordy and very anime-y - very Atlus-y, in fact! Bizarrely, I found it quite difficult for a demo and had to play it several times before I succeeded!
One thing I'm somewhat concerned about - it's now a PEGI 12, whereas it did have a provisional PEGI 16. Is there anything in the game that's likely to be censored for the European release?
@MetalKingShield: Can't figure out for the life of me what they would remove if anything. It's only a teen rating here so I doubt they removed anything from the version we got.

If I was only ever able to have Monster Hunter and EO games in the future, I would be a happy man.
I just ordered this from Best Buy for $24. I'm not usually into this genre of games and I already have too big of a backlog, but I actually really enjoyed the demo and heard so many great things about it I had to give it a shot at that price. It's today only for anyone interested ($30 actually, plus saved 20% for the Gamer's Club).
Looking forward to this launching in Europe! The special edition cost too much for me at the moment but I have pre-ordered a physical copy online. I'm 100% sure this won't be available in shops in Ireland.
Found this yesterday at the supermarket for 39.99€ and couldn't resist. That's 2 week before the official release ! Someone did a mistake over there
Anyway, I'll give it a try as soon as I finish Dream Team Bros. That will be in a long time because my playtime has drastically decreased since I'm a father !
@salv-ice: I'm just now starting to get more game time as my kids are getting older so I know how you feel. Hope you enjoy it when you get to it and I'm also currently playing Dream Team. I'm about 30 hours in.

Anyone else playing this at the moment? I put Etrian Odyssey Untold 2 on the shelf and delved into this instead.
It's a very agreeable S-RPG. Doesn't appear to have as much strategy as Fire Emblem (ie. no "Weapon Triangle"), and the units seem underpowered to me (unlike in FE where you have the upper hand as long as you've planned wisely), but it's entertaining enough.
There is a slight dating sim element, where choosing the right thing to say is a bit of a lottery.
I plan on getting this but not until May or June at the earliest. I have games preordered so far that will take me to June anyways. I really want it because I played the demo and am kind of tempted to get it on the eShop since it's on sale. I might even get it on the 1st if I can, before the sake is up but I also want another game.
Want: Harvest Moon: One World, Story of Seasons: Pioneering Town, Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury
Finished the Alola Dex.
Now playing New Horizons, Wrath of White Witch and Sword
@MetalKingShield: I don't know. The character balance if off the chart IMO. Half the cast is great to use due to how useful they are, whereas the other are just not that good to use. In FE you can pretty much roll with any character if you level up or protect them accordingly.
Nonoka and Rusty are top tier. The things they can do once they are leveld up, as well when you max their friendhsip hearts makes Nonoka the second best unit in the game due to how ridiculous overpowered she becomes when certain orbs are equipped.
Same for the lower end of the spectrum. There's this archer guy that you get which just sucks.
New Super Mario Bros. Deluxe, a remake of Super Mario Bros 1 and The Lost Levels for NSMBDS.

Yes, Nonoka is a favourite of mine. If I only have one elemental orb, I give it to her.
Anyway, it's a great little game, it just takes a while to see the strategy in it. Once you get to the Earth, Wind, Fire, Water dynamic it all falls into place. I'm now at the stage where I'm trying to get the Earth Witch. I hope I'm not too far into the game, as Free Time is limited and there are a lot of characters I want to max-out my bonds with.
One thing - there is an awful lot of dialogue. The translators really earned their money with this one! I'm tempted to skip a lot of it, just for time, although some of it is very funny.
Wow. This is currently keeping me away from my switch and i'm loving every minute of it. Had been in my backlog untouched for years and now absorbing all my free time... 3DS continues to surprise me with these hidden gems.
Loving both the chunky character models and clean crisp dialogue sprites, the pacing of new skill acquisition, the well balanced difficulty (will give you a kicking if you get complacent!) the variety of music (between positive upbeat and haunting chanting) the characters and their relationships are suprisingly well written and the plot is enough to keep me invested. 20 hours in and I absolutely intend to finish this.
Going to have to check out Luminous Arc 2 as well at this rate!
