Topic: Are you dissapointed or surprised that Majora's Mask 3D wasn't announced?

I don't care. I would like to play it, as I never finished the original game, but I am not distraught at the lack of announcement of a remake. I wouldn't be sad if it turns out that there is never going to be one either.

That said, I also don't care for S.T.E.A.M either.

Wha? '.' -.-
Disappointed? No.
Well, I just wish that I.S were doing something like

  • Advance Wars 3DS
  • Fire Emblem Wii U
  • WarioWare for any console
But no. I'm not disappointed, 'cuz E3 was so great, and Aonuma has already said that he is listening to the fans, so stop worrying, because you (MAY) get it soon, and spoil yourself with hype!

God first.

Not to the point of Majora's Mask or Riot like in the chat I was in but a little yes it's my favorite title in the series and I knew it was coming out on 3ds or Wii u so I didn't get a virtual version but it'll be released soon

Capcom at E3: Guys we're sorry about how we've been treating Mega Man so we're gonna make it up to you by releasing the Mega Man Cancelled Collection with all the titles we cancelled in the condition they we're in just before we pulled the plug. Now who wants Street Fighter X Monster Hunter?

Apparently, they are doing work on Advance Wars and Fire Emblem as we speak.

No, they said they would reveal it when they were ready. Doesn't mean it's in development.

Both. It was the one thing I was convinced was being worked on that wasn't shown at e3. I'm still convinced it's being worked on though. I mean: ALBW references, the club nintendo platinum award, the numerous hints being dropped from Anouma and co.

I'm surprised and disappointed that there's still no sign of a MM remake. It'd go well with the already existing OoT remake and just kind of makes sense considering the amount of demand for the game. That being said, there's no reason to hate on a completely new project just because it wasn't what you wanted. People who are mad at Project STEAM need to chill out and try to make their own MM remake before they complain like that. Can't complain if you're not doing anything to progress the idea beside being a whiny Nintendo fanboy.

Hating on STEAM is the equivalent of me hating every single Valve game because it isn't Half-Life 2 Episode 3.

(PS: Valve, DO SOMETHING WITH THE HALF-LIFE SERIES)

It must be fun working for Nintendo, where every little easter egg you make all of a sudden throws your fans in a tizzy, as they look to the stars to try and figure out what you're thinking, even though the answer is always the same: "Because I could"

I think they are just messing with us by placing Easter Eggs for it everywhere.

I don't know. There's really no reason that they wouldn't release it. They've rereleased pretty much every other LoZ as far as I know.

Yeah, you forget about the cdi games.

Oh and I don't think TP is too new for a remake. If anything it would benefit the most from an hd makeover.

I only included games in the timeline. That's why Link's Crossbow Training is not in the list as well.

EDIT: If you want me to be even more obscure, I could've mentioned the BS Zelda games.

Well, based on recency, it is a Wii game, so we might have to wait a generation.

However, if there is one, they must use the more superior version that is the GCN version as a base.

I agree, I think it'd be a bit silly to rerelease TP already. I wouldn't mind if it came alongside another Zelda game, but as a major project/release, that would tick me off a bit...

PH and ST are both newer than TP.

Imo though, MM is really the only one that is about due for a re-release. TP and SS both look and play just fine on a Wii U. Same goes for PH and ST on 3DS. MM is on Wii VC, but it looks awful (as all N64 games do now). The assets and engine from OoT3D could be reused for MM3D, so it's really a no-brainer. Minimal time and money required to make it and guaranteed sales to the large built-in fanbase.

I see PH and ST releasing on the DS VC, which is why I didn't say it was too new.
