E3 has come and gone this year with multiple exciting titles announced. What came as a bit of a surprise to some gamers, was that Nintendo didn't unveil any remakes, especially Majora's Mask. Not a whisper of a detail was spoken about it by Nintendo. Some fans have even started venting their frustrations on Miiverse, demanding why project STEAM wasn't Majora's Mask 3D. Are you surprised or disappointed that the famous Zelda title's remake wasn't announced?

I personally find it ridiculous that people would ridicule a new, creative title like Project STEAM, because it wasn't a remake of Majora's Mask. The amount of hate the game is getting because of this is unbelievable. With that being said, I would like a remake in a year or two, but on the Wii U. It would be a much better fit on the big screen.

I didn't really care. I'd have liked to have a remake of majora's mask, but I've played through it enough times that I don't feel that I'm missing anything without it.

Honestly, Codename STEAM really doesn't appeal to me. I personally wish it was something else, but I understand the need for it to have a 90 minute roundtable as it is such a different title. I was disappoint we didn't see MM3D at all though, but I found it ridiculous people actually thought that would be the unannounced 3DS title. Why in the world would they need 90 minutes to explain Majora's Mask to us?

I just find it ridiculous that people would ridicule the new game that people had been demanding for and be angry that the Zelda they said they were milking didn't show up.

I'm a little disappointed, but I believe it's just a matter of time regardless. Aonuma himself admitted that he hears the fans a lot, and he has been for years now, so he will eventually have to answer.

I'm more disappointed that Intelligent Systems isn't making a new WarioWare for 3DS, but I'm okay with them making a new IP, even if it's something I really don't care for.

When will they make a new Wario Ware for 3DS? You would think that (compared to previous 3DS handhelds) the 3DS would have at least one Wario Ware game by now.

Even though I'm saving up my money for an album, I definitely would've bought Majoras Mask 3D had Nintendo announced it. Such a great and underrated game.

It's just more proof of what everybody keeps saying about Nintendo gamers. They keep crying for new IPs, and then when they get one that looks great, they throw a fit because they would rather have yet another version of a game they can already play on each of the last four consoles. Apparently it is not even only Nintendo games that sell on Nintendo systems: it is only specific Nintendo games. Hopefully this and Splatoon will change that.

Considering I have hardly played Majora's Mask, I would have bought it in a heartbeat.

@Nintendo_Ninja: For some strange reason, Nintendo and Intelligent Systems just didn't decide to make a WarioWare for 3DS early on ,which is strange because WarioWare usually comes early in a console or handheld's lifetime. STEAM is just further proof WarioWare 3DS will be the latest installment of the series by a mile.

They did make Game and Wario, but even that was a few months ago now.

where is it written that everyone will like/love something merely because it's a new IP? i don't care for the art style, but an even bigger problem for me is that it appears to be in first person which tends to make me throw up no matter what system they are on. i cannot play any mario karts or other racing games for the same reason.

yeah, i would love to have MM3d, but i would have loved an new IP that i found interesting. this one i don't. i am sure others will absolutely play the hell out of it and appreciate it. just not me.

I'm not surprised, because it would have been obvious to announce something like this, instead of an awesome, yet unexpected title like Splatoon. As much as people think they do, Nintendo doesn't do predictable nowadays.

it'll probably come next year.

I think it would be better on the Wii U, because it would boost sales even more, and it would be cool to see it with the Wii U's graphics.

However it would also be cool to see it on the 3DS like people are expecting, because it will be in 3D, and portable.

I'll post my friend code once I have a better team ready for Pokemon X, for battling.

I feel like when people ask for a new ip they mean more along the lines of Mario, Zelda, Metriod, or Pikmin, over games like Steel Diver and Nintendogs or STEAM and Splatoon. They way I see it as is if the series can spawn sequels, a more the one entry on the same system, and if a character from it could make it into Smash it is the sort of new ip people want. The smaller new ips are great, but Nintendo really needs a new big player ip. Seeing as though Miyamoto only wants to make new ips that feature robots this doesn't seem to be coming soon.

I could care less that Majora's Mask 3D wasn't announced at E3, I mean sure if it was announced I would be excited to play it but I'm not gonna worry over whether it does or does not get announced.

I'd like to see MM 3D eventually come to light but we got S.T.E.A.M. instead. A new IP that people always want from Nintendo so MM 3D would've nice but there were better things to announce.

If you COULD care less, that means your amount of caring is currently >0.

Neither surprised or disappointed.

Nintendo has taught me to be a very patient person. I can wait.
