I hope not. the bikes were cheap. IT's called MarioKart for a reason

From what I've seen, probably not. Double Dash had 2 people in the Kart at once, Wii had bikes, and now this one has a focus on hang glider segments and underwater segments. These twists are only in the game they were introduced in. So, don't expect bikes in this one and don't expect hang gliders in the next one. Doesn't matter to me since I never used bikes. I like that Mario Kart changes a bit from iteration to iteration. Keeps it interesting!
I thin the more important question question is: Track Editor?
Plus, I hope not. The fewer gimmicks in a Mario Kart game, the better.
Track Editor would be a great idea but, knowing nintendo its not likely to happen. And yes to less gimmicky items, I want alot more skill into the game then mashing the button to get more Blue Shells

Probably not. I never used them anyway. I just hope they go all the way with the customization and don't make it something we could have been without. It should feel needed and like "how did I ever play without this", not cheap and tacked on.
We should be able to see some really interesting tracks if they use all the potential of customization.
Looking forward to: No More Heroes: Travis Strikes Again
