Question, because my internet is crappy and the video kept stuttering and buffering for long periods of time: did they confirm all of the Guild 02 games, or only the Starship and Bugs ones?

About as much as I expected. Granted a few surprises here and there, but nothing that really got my blood racing aside from the Pikmin 3 snipet; and even that was toned down once they said it won't be out for a few more months still. It was good don't get me wrong, there just wasn't anything that really caught my personal eye in particular.

Biggest Pikmin fan on NL!

Avian fact of the week: The Moa, an extinct relative of ostrichs and emus that inhabited New Zealand, was the tallest bird that ever lived at 12 ft tall (3.6 m). It was also the only known bird to have no wing structure.

They confirmed Monsters Come Out On Friday under a different title.

As a 3DS owner I bow at the support this system has. Realy haven't been using it much that will change since I've started carrying it more.

No (edit:) common sense for Nintendo. Re-porting GBA games onto the Wii U, but not finishing the job they started on the 3DS was not a good idea.
(Edited to make my point clearer, nothing against the Wii U getting it, but selling the completed product on the 3DS would've been a good idea too)

My SD Card with the game on it is just as physical as your cartridge with the game on it.
I love Nintendo, that's why I criticize them so harshly.

Pokefanmum82

the GBA games on the 3DS weren't really done well so maybe they think that they can make it better on the Wii U

Want: Ever Oasis, SoS Trio of Towns, Dragon Quest 8, Pikmin 3DS, Mario Sports Superstars, and Poochy & Yoshi's Woolly World.
Playing Skytree Village, Moon, Sun and Alpha Sapphire right now.
Loving the Alola region and can't wait to explore it all.

Says you. What credentials do you have, Mr. Businessman?

Don't need to post credentials to have common sense. I've made a product, paid everyone to get it ready, and I'm not gonna sell it. Instead, I'm gonna recreate it from scratch and sell it to a different group of people that haven't shown as much interest as the first group.
Nintendo has stated it takes a good amount of money to get a game on the VC. They spent the money getting it on the 3DS VC, but they decided against selling it and just give it away for a limited time. Now, they're going to re-port it and spend all the money again to a group that hasn't shown as much interest in it.
It's just common sense to sell a product after you made it >.<

@mumof2kids82 Neither were the NES games at first.

They're also porting it to a system that's more similar to the system they've worked with before, and have more experience with. And they only readied 10 games on the 3DS, and didn't do a particularly great job with it, either. Perhaps they found that the 3DS wasn't the best place to put GBA games? Perhaps their emulator for the 3DS makes things more difficult? These are things we don't know, but Nintendo surely would, since it's their programs and their machines. Common sense means nothing when you don't have all the information.

The same thing could've been said about the NES games before Nintendo decided to sell them. Even in the current state, they would sell. It may not be as refined as GBC games on the VC, but they would sell and people would stop asking for it, and Nintendo could profit. They've already paid to get it ported and all they need to do is make it public (anyone can view the game on the eShop via Streetpass but you can purchase GBA games). If a business skips over relatively easy cash, it's not a smart business move.

but who says it will be relatively easy cash....and you seem to forget that Nintendo never said that the NES Ambassador games won't make it to the eShop but they did say that they would never sell the ambassador GBA games on the 3DS eShop.

Actually, they only said they didn't have any plans to release them at that time.

It would be relatively easy to add a price tag to a complete game. Yes, I know they said that it would never hit the eShop, and that is the bad decision. They've completed the product, and all they need to do is make the pages for the games public and add a price tag to get them to sell. That sounds like easy cash to me.

But if they released those 10, they'd have to release more. That might be costly, or at least not worth the meager amount of money that VC honestly is.

Really, I just don't think it makes sense that your "commen sense" says that Nintendo has no business sense because they're not putting GBA games on a the 3DS, when they are putting them on the Wii U, instead of saying that a Multi-Million dollar company that's been around for over 100 years might actually have a sensible reason for what they're doing. (or hell, even that it might be an affordable loss, and therefore not much of an issue)

Who says they'd have to release more? Whining fans? They only released 21 N64 games on the Wii VC. Were there other games that would've been nice to put on there? Yes. Did they? No. And Nintendo was not a video game company for that 100 years, mainly a playing card company, but even playing card companies should know when they have decks with all but the kings you should make more kings and finish the decks rather than start from scratch again.
I think we both know this argument isn't going anywhere, so I'm willing to stop now, but if you still think you can prove me wrong, go ahead.
