Topic: Any way to fix my 3DS?

I got mine second hand but the outer camera has never worked. It just shows black when I try to use it and has a tendency to freeze on me. Its way too late to take it back and I don't want to lose the ambassador games. It doesn't look damaged, it just isn't working.

do i need to send it to nintendo? i wouldn't use the outer camera much anyway if it had been working so its not a huge issue, i'd just like it to be working like it should.

No, you won't lose your Ambassador games — Ambassador status survives even a System Transfer on your part, so surely it'll survive if they need to replace your 3DS. If it causes freezing issues, definitely get in touch with Nintendo while it's still under its original warranty. :3

Do you know why it isn't working? The only thing I can think of is its camera lens is damaged somewhere, but that wouldn't explain the freezing issue. Safest bet would probably be to send it in to Nintendo and let them have a look at it.

I found out its a software issue, not a hardware issue.

The outer camera for Soul of Darkness still works fine.
