Topic: Anyone think we would be able to watch our own movies on the 3DS when the video recording comes out?

Sounds like it's plausible. There must be a viewing feature of videos that you took on your 3DS when it comes out. So, anyone think we can just insert your own movie into the SD card and watch it on the 3DS?

Not extremely into nintendo at the moment, but not really into anything else either. :|

I disagree. Although we don't know what format they'll use it'll probably be fairly standard (they did use .mpo for images) so I think it's highly probable. They do want people to be able to say "hey, I recorded this video on my 3DS". If it's a standard format that uses side-by-side 3D, which is the standard way of saving 3D, you'll be able to upload the video in 3D directly to youtube from day one.

but I think if you want to watch other videos on your 3DS you can pretty much guarantee that you'll need to convert it first
