I really want to pick this game up tomorrow but I think I will have to wait considering that Super Mario 3D Land is out in a few days. That and Skyrim comes out this Friday too.
I really don't miss out on much as far as great digital games go as I do use steam. Almost nothing dsiware has offered up or wiiware for that matter has been much entertainment for me than a few hour if that distraction that is unique to the system so really I just see it as smart savings. I don't have a huge budget, so their bad policies allow me to enjoy more elsewhere on real media or on steam where I can keep a paid for copy of my stuff (as it should be.) I'll still grab something for $10 very rarely $15, but it really has to be a huge draw to me if it's stuck to a system based on trust alone (3ds, ps3, etc) vs steam.

Until I have all my most-wanted top-priority games first, I'll pass. Then when I have no anticipated games on my list, and Cave Story slashes its price in half, maybe I'll consider it.
Seriously, it's just a flashy remake of a game I already have for free. Not to sound spiteful of it, but why would I want it that badly?
I received Cave Story 3D from Amazon earlier this evening. This remake kicks so much a**. The graphics are gorgeous, and the remixed music is wonderful.
