Possible Spoiler Warning...
Don't get me wrong, I loved Super Mario 3D Land. The graphics, music, controls and wonderful level design was all there. But did anyone find this game way too easy? I've finished the game 100% including the special worlds within about four or five days of frequent playing. And I pretty much finished every level with all star coins on my first attempt... I can't help but feel a little let down..
What does everyone else think?

It was easy, but, well, it was fun!
I haven't actually fully completed it yet, I'm on Special 8-2 but I think it was moderately hard at the end. The first 8 worlds were a breeze. I think the first 6 Special Worlds were easy to get through, but it wasn't all that easy to get all the Star coins. I think S Worlds 7 and 8 are kind of harder. I played through S 7 and it wasnt that easy. It wasn't hard, but it was decently hard to get through all the levels. From the 2 levels I've played of 8, it should be quite hard.
Overall the game was pretty easy, but I certainly wasn't expecting Metroid level difficulty or anything, Mario games are pretty much always very easy to win. I think the S worlds were a decent attempt at trying to up the difficulty though. Before I got to the S worlds I had 172 lives and had died about twice throughout the whole thing. Now I've reached S 8 I only have 67 lives. I think Nintendo tried their best with the S worlds to give the gamers something harder to beat but, yeah I suppose it was easy.
Easy? YesA Let Down? No

Its not that hard for the most part but I found some of the special levels really hard. My first game over was on special 3-5 which was yesterday.

I guess a let down was too strong a phrase.. 'cause I certainly don't regret buying it. I just feel like somethings wrong when I'm in the last few worlds and I have 159 lives purely from a build up of not dying . I guess after Donkey Kong Country Returns I just crave DIFFICULTY in my platformers.

I found the special worlds difficult...I mean I have 100+ lives too, but on the Specials I notice that I died a lot.
I love Erica (Strike Witches), Yuuki, and for some odd reason, Megumi (School Rumble)
Update: Also love Yukari and Mizore from Rosario + Vampire.
Another Update: Also Amber and Xiao Pai from Rune Factory 4.

Well Mario is also aimed at younger gamers too so we can't expect full-out difficulty on these stages. I think there's a nice balance in difficulty in this game, and thank goodness it doesn't have the Mega Man mentality (difficulty comes from constant deaths)

The first 8 worlds have been very easy. Haven't tried the special worlds yet because of Skyward Sword and plenty of other games that I'm currently playing.

Finished the game in 2 days. Yes it is easy. Nevertheless it's still a blast to play!
I finally have a Wii U now! And Splatoon and Smash Bros U!

Yes, it is very easy. It took me about 20 hours to complete 100%. However, there is still some enjoyment in replaying the levels over again. I just hope there will be another Mario platformer on the 3DS

Overall it's pretty easy, yeah. I still find myself losing ten lives at a time on certain levels, but you get so many collecting star coins that I still come out ahead on them. Personally I think it's a nice change of pace. I'm sure the inevitable sequel will ramp up the difficulty though.
I made Kid Tripp! PocketGamer gave it a 9 out of 10! You should totally buy it now!

I still haven't got it yet, but I will soon. Tbh, the low difficulty is why I'm not too hyped about it, but getting all the coins should add some decent difficulty, plus all the bonus levels. I still think the difficulty and amount of bonus content in New Super Mario Bros. Wii was perfect. It might be my all time favorite Mario platformer.

It was quite easy, but some levels were quite hard. I'm not bothered to finish all levels with Luigi or get all the golden flags though. If you want a challenge then try and get a highscore on each level for your time. Theres already a thread set up for it.
To be honest the lives system is a bit messed up. You can easily get over 200 through the game and have this upon finishing, and even if you somehow ran out of lives there isn't even a penalty. This is why games are getting too soft.

I don't know why Nintendo is doing that lately with the lives...New Super Mario Bros. Wii, Kirby Returns to Dreamland, even Donkey Kong Country Returns (except there my lives drained out fast with Mirror Mode, but still. lol)...and the Galaxy games.

You unlock a new level when you gold flag and play through all the levels as both bros, and when you max out your lives you get a neat easter egg.

I found it to be fairly easy, but, for the last level after Gold flagpoles and beating each level with both bros., I found myself quitting after dying a lot so I wouldn't just be replaying S1-1 to get a pair of Metal Tanooki Suits. Hopefully there is a SM3DL2 that's a lot like SMG2 (i.e. more difficult but also more fun) coming in a few years or so. That would be nice.

Some of the special levels were quite hard to me. But overall the game was without doubt way too easy (and well, imo too short also). I enjoyed this Mario, but not so much I want to keep the module. Already selling it. Will stick with the NES-Mario instead
Grammar errors? We could use the german language instead of the english one of course - do you dare? ;)

I find it a bit too easy, even that super-secret final level gets easy with practice.
