Isn't that kind of a bummer though?
You've pretty much gotten through half the content of the game fishing-wise in the first day. Coupling that with the all too easy money making techniques and it looks like this AC game isn't that well balanced. :/
The majority of fish can be collected during the summer. It's the same deal with every Animal Crossing. It'll take me until Spring 2014 to 100% the fish catalog since, well, I'm an old fashioned AC player.
So no, it's not a bummer.
@Morph Plant it as a normal tree. And watch for perfect fruit!

I wish my town was bigger, as it's gonna be kinda hard to have a big orchard. Is it bad to have a tree near a river? Isabelle mentioned not putting it near buildings or canyons but didn't mention rivers.
My SD Card with the game on it is just as physical as your cartridge with the game on it.
I love Nintendo, that's why I criticize them so harshly.

I never plant trees near rivers, gets in the way of fishing sight lines.
I really, really, don't want to time travel, but I'm not gonna be able to play it for a couple days and I just got the game D:
I really want to see what my house looks like, and I've scrounged up 50,000 bells to pay for an upgrade...
