Topic: Angry Birds 3DS - Worth Getting?

I am very new to angry birds but have heard alot of hype about the angry birds games from friends both good & bad etc.

Is angry birds 3DS a worth while game to actually get?

I have been looking forward to getting this on my 3DS since the 3DS came out but have only played the computer verison once or twice. Heard alot of good & bad stuff about angry birds from friends. Just questioning it.

I'd say absolutely not.
It's OK at best, for a free mobile game that you can pick up and play for a few minutes.

There are so many better games on the 3DS that you could spend your money on.

Maybe if it was an eShop title... but no way for a full retail release.

Well, you can buy all four Angry Birds games for $4 on iOS, get it for free on Android, or you could buy the 3DS version for $30.
Yeah, it's just too overpriced.

Its better then any game that Nintendo would make.

Yeah that would be great if not for one tiny little problem I don't own an iphone or android nor do I have any intention on getting either one. Heck I don't even have an ipod either just a regular cd player nor do I plan on getting one lol.

Not everyone own's an iphone or android it may be cheap if you already owned that type phone but not all of us own those types of phones nor do all of us want those types of phones so as to where for one person it'd be cheap to another person not so much.

Was looking forward to getting the game. Oh well. Might just see how many star's it get's in the e-shop now...

@ymmas626: you can play the original Angry Birds on your browser for free with Google Chrome. You could start with that.

I could? lol I really want to play it on my 3ds though. Like I said I played the computer version it was a while ago in japanese somehow got it through google search. It was odd & I couldn't tell if I was winning or losing lol.

Two games in sept I'm looking forward to getting is disney princesses 3DS & angry birds 3DS. I might or might not get angry birds. Personally I just hope they don't change the release dates.

The iPad versions are $3 each, I believe the mac ones are $5 each. This 3DS version is supposed to have some neat upgrades, though I'm not sure exactly what. I think it will quickly fall in price to $20 or so, at which point I say go for it. I don't think I will, since I already have them on iPad, but they are good games. Just wait and see how the 3DS version compares to all the other previous releases.

As others have said, give the Chrome version a go and see what you think.

I think Angry Birds is quite fun, but I wouldn't pay $30 or so for it. You can make up your own mind after you play it, though.

I agree with that, but consider that all handheld console games are overpriced. Shantae: Risky's Revenge, Scribblenauts, and Ghost Trick are all cheaper on iOS as well.

Does anyone know what the 3DS game is going to be like? I mean, you think they're going to throw in all the games into one or something? Or an all-new adventure mode thing?

I play it for free on Google Chrome.There's your answer.

Also note how several of those games that are cheaper show a decrease in quality (At the very least, Shantae and World of Goo didn't luckily).

As for my opinion... Dude, you'd have to give me $200 and a 5-course meal with filet mignon and creme brulee before I play the first 3 levels. It's that bad IMO.
