Topic: An easy way to fix the 3DS Virtual Console...

I've got one of these things to give me my portable retro gaming fix while I wait for the 3DS VC to catch up so I guess I'm less annoyed about the wait for Game Gear games than most. Actually, I'm finding myself playing Bomber Raid and Alex Kidd in Miracle World (neither of which are actually Game Gear games) while I fill in 5mins waiting for stuffs more often than iPod Touch games and 3DS games combined...........

edit: actually, I'd be happy if they delayed Game Gear games a bit longer if it meant I got Donkey Kong Land or Tetris/Dr Mario with multiplayer sooner

Well, when Nintendo launched Club Nintendo in 2008 they put it up on Virtual Console which is also connected to the DSiShop and eShop. With an update, they can finally connect all accounts together for downloads across all their platforms.

It's doable. All Nintendo needs to do is stop being reluctant about it. SNES games on the go would be amazing. Even if it means no remakes for FFVI and some other titles potentionally being remade for 3ds. Though, that didn't stop Cave Story 3D from happening.

Please finally release Earthbound on VC so I can play it on the go if it ever even happens.

Maybe that has more to do with your headphones. I mean, I don't have any VC games yet but I do play using my headphones fairly regularly and I have no problem. I guess there is SOME volume adjustment required but that's not unusual for swapping between headphones and speakers and so I haven't noticed.

If anything the only problem I've had with sound on the 3DS is the ridiculously high volume of 3D Classics Excitebike compared to everything else...........

That would be an awesome idea! Imagine playing a NES title on the go and continuing the same game on a console!

Some of you are saying it worthless to have console games on the 3DS because they were not portable from the beginning; Nintendo is releasing NES games on the service next week so why not the rest of the console classics on SNES, Genesis, etc?
