Well, I don't know what I was expecting, but this review doesn't seem to satisfy me much either. It certainly gives us an insight, but I think I'll wait for our trusty Nintendo Life reviewer to give it a shot before I judge for myself.
After reading that I'm really happy I didn't pre-order this. Doesn't look like it's worth the €45 =/ They should have put this game with the 3DS console itself, like they did with the Wii & Wii Sports...

Ha HAAA! I never played any games featuring Wuhu island, so the first point they bring up about it being dated is negated right off the bat in my case.

On topic: All the reviews seem to say this one is light on content but what's there is compelling. I would rather have a highly enjoyable 5 hour game than a 50 hour game that is rarely enjoyable and drags on. So getting this one on launch!
I don't see why everyone is bashing it. Sure, it's light on content, but the game itself is extremely fun(looks like classic pilotwings) and is perfect for a launch game to show off what the 3ds can do.

@Tj92: Hey, this is very off topic but where did you get that animated Suicune? Is there some site with all the different Pokemon's animated sprites on it?
You can download individual sprites there, but at the bottom there's a link that you can click to download all the front non-shiny sprites all at once, which I did.
Keep in mind that this site (Nintendolife) has a cap of 64kb for animated GIF's. Anything bigger than that and your avatar will show up as a regular picture with a random color background.
@Tj92: Thanks! Too bad they don't have shiny animated sprites. Hopefully they add it in the future. Guess I'm sticking with my non-animated shiny Charizard
Perhaps they're 'bashing' it because they didn't think it's that great (7/10 is still good)? And perhaps what's important to them is not the same as what's important to you... That doesn't mean their analysis is incorrect.
