Topic: action replay fried my ads XL's screen

I'v had my nintendo 3ds Xl for just over a year now and now its been ruined. I was playing my pokemon soul silver and i thought I'd boot up my action replay dsi. Plugged the AR and my 3ds into my mac and it started getting extremely hot so i took out the AR and turned on 3ds XL and the both the screens are hued a dark purple. what can i do to fix this???

is the purple screen a common issue? will it go away with time? or is my DS broken.

3Ds has built in anti piracy measures, hence why it's meant for the standard DS. Sorry but your 3DS is bricked.

That sounds awful, sorry to hear that. You could contact Nintendo and send it in to be repaired, if possible, but it might be pretty costly. It might be your best option to just buy a New Nintendo 3DS XL, if you've been thinking about purchasing one, and performing a data transfer.

Since it was an unlicensed product I would say so. You can buy another one and send it into Nintendo to have all your stuff transfered but it will cost you.
