I knida want this game too. But maybe i'll have to pass because there is no MP on it. I'm going to wait to see if NFS:The Run reviews and if it gets 8.0 or higher, or even a 7.5, i might have to get that one instead. Supposedly NFS:TheRun is supposed to have MP, 8player racing and 4 on 4 cop vs racer. If the reviews for it are meh, i might consider Ace Combat.

Gameplay (10) air combat are just fun, dodgeding enemy's misslie, bullets and then go right behind them shot them also attacking the ground forces are a little easy but with enemy jets after you it may become a little hard to aim at them.overall its an amazement dog fights

Sound (9) you can rise the volume for the dialogues, music, sound effects up to 15. The voice dialuge is just right but sometimes it can be fizz.alone with the music it one amaz sound track they use some of the music from other ace combat games, it also can be fuzz at times but still awsome music to listern to. sound effects are like the real thing, hearding misslies, bullets, jets, wind its there.

Story (9) The story example how they are retaking the land they lost in a rebal attack, and also talk about the side characters lifes but not really talk about the one jet you meet in some missions.

Graphics (9) beautiful land, sea, and air. the jets look all polish and shiny. ocean reflects the sun just perfect. land just like land but its a little dotted just like the building.

Content (9) it got everthing in it like replay record video of the fights, music player, medals, aircrafts info.also have option to have different contorl, have first person view , 3rd person view but wish it had online along with replay of cutscenes,

I think i'll personally wait to get this game until it goes down in price. I really hate that it doesn't have Online MP. I've been seeing some great videos of NFS:TR that i think i'm going with that game, especially because it has Online MP. Plus it has cop chases which i'm a sucker for.

I really really want this game. I havnt played an ace combat game in a long time. I took back star fox well because it was just been there done that for me. This on the other hand looks promising and will keep me entertained for a while. Thanks for the review here! Multi player doesn't matter to me either. I will get this as soon as I have funds.

i just get the game on the released date still having fun oh i forget to talk about the ranks its just like Resident Evil Mercenaries rank d to s mission iam trying to replay the mission to get s rank.

Well dang it, that's even an extra good reason to get the game then. I like that because it gives you more replayability for the game. I'm currently going thru each character and stage in RE:M trying to get SS ranks. This would be cool to do on this too.

Any other modes that it has that might convince people to get this since it has no MP on it? I heard something about a Survival Mode that comes with it. What's that about?

yes there is surivival its about gaving limit ammo and only having 50% - 10% of health and also there is extra missions where some of the story missions have a little twist. there are 4 extra and 6 surivival mode, also use the ranks

I absolutely have always hated Ranks, it's just a way to demotivate and aggravate me with a game as usually they're pretty picky so it gets in the way, but the series from what I've played is fun and I may just grab this yet.

Your right there's 23 mission's in the story mode.

I believe different difficulty levels easy, normal, hard and Ace but have to unlock the last one.

There an challenge mode with options like - free play were it say's you can change options and objectives.

There a survival mode and Extra mission mode for more experienced pilots.

Plus there's Data viewer were you check out details like -

Planes you have bought, characters in story mode, weapons plus you listen to music in game and watch replays that you can save from mission's which epic:)

Plus before you start mission you can custom planes with parts like engines, cockpits, etc... and pick one of many skins for each plane u bought.

You also right there's no 2 player option or online sadly:(

Game clocks in about 5 - 6 hours.

But of course you can go back to missions to get higher grade and play with modes in challenge section.

Plus you try unlock all planes, parts, skins etc..

So that should add several hours on to package:D

Surprisingly graphics look amazing plus read from one reviewers that all levels mapping have been taking from actual real world photo's!

Sum textures and mountains areas look very realistic and lighting and 3D make game really pop!

Ive been researching this game since last friday:) and checking all review's.

The thing that they complain about the most is that it hasn't got online and story has no emotion to it.

Plus locations are fictional and not real world locations like home versions.

But honestly they say that this game is more like ace combat than home versions on 360 & PS3.

People who love to soar above the clouds! Now can in 3D

Who knows if they even have someone on this game atm. I almost have enough money to pick this up. Its been a long time since I've played ace combat and I'm really looking forward to it. I even traded in star fox because I've rather play the more realistic flight sim.

OK so I picked this up a couple of days ago. Just started it today because its been sharing time with Mario kart and skyward sword.

I really like the presentation so far. It really makes me feel like I'm almost right there. The 3d effect is some of the best I've seen at work as well. It really adds to this game. So far I'm only at mission 4 but really like it so far. Graphics are also very well done and the controls are spot on! Voices can be annoying at times but the acting is OK. That only because it sounds like they are talking through a tin can at times. I understand this is do to the fact its mostly all radio talk. I do recommend this to anyone interested in flight Sims!

I actually got the game for cheap at Glyde.com brand new. It was selling for $20 and I already had some credit on my account from selling other things and got Ace Combat for like $14!

The game is loads of fun. I am pretty far into it and love unlocking things!

its possibly the most thrilling 3DS game ive had pleasure to play.

ive play through normal, hard and now on ace difficulty!

ive unlock about 20 planes and theres still more=)

cant stress enough how fun it is and content is good enough for more then one play through.

constantly leveling up
add's more planes and parts and extra and survival missions.

this game keeps on giving and its one my favourite 3DS titles=)
of year.

It sumtimes not about killing everything on the level. Its about finishing objective quickly!!

Also pick plane that got a good speed! you can then shave time off clock and make sure you use different parts like engines, wings to improve you planes ability's
