Recently my 2ds broke and I went into the shop to get it replaced, which I did. Now I tried to link my account to find that I would have needed to get the data and unlink the account from that DS. Is there a way you can unlink the account remotely and will I be able to get my spot pass data? I really want it because of how much time and energy I've spent on it traveling the country and passing people
I'm afraid the only way you'll get your street pass data back is by going back to the store and praying to the arcane gods they'll let you do a transfer.
Nintendo can remotely unlink your account so you can link it to a new console, but without a proper console-to-console transfer, you'll lose the save data.
