Topic: A second 3d star fox

Would you like nintendo to make another star fox game for the 3ds? If so, would it be a remake or a completely original storyline? What new features would you like them to add to the game?

they need to make the first Star Fox for 3DS before that

Like F-Zero, I think this is a game that would look great in both 3D and HD, so I can't be sure which system I would prefer it on. Another 3DS Starfox would be great though!

Yes, a new Star Fox. I have lost interest in remakes because of the Virtual Console. If I want to play a classic game I can.

I wouldn't mind a remake of the first SNES game. It's such a classic, and could do with updated graphics. 3D shooting would be perfect for 3DS, right?

Naturally, I'd prefer an all out new game, but only if it lived up to the original. Not a massive fan of StarFox 64.

I am not against remakes if the price is fair. (And there are good improvements).

(And they don't change how the game plays - For that reason I dislike DuckTales).

My humble suggestion: a Steel Diver Sub Wars-style F2P multi-player game set in the StarFox universe. Instant hit with all the StarFox fans and because it's a free download, everyone will be playing it and get to know the franchise. Win-win!

I don't think it is set in the Star Fox universe, Peppy just guess stared in it. Star Fox has submarine gameplay that is nothing like this game and yojr crew is made of humans, which don't exists in Star Fox

EDIT: Somehow my eyes went right over "style". I saw it as a suggestion to replace the wanting of a new Star Fox... so now I feel like an idiot lol

He was suggesting a new game. I think that Nintendo could really benefit from the payment style that they have with Sub Wars - I see more and more people with premium subs, and I wouldn't be surprised if it was actually a few percent of the TOTAL 3DS userbase. A new Starfox game with a stand-alone F2P online mode would be successful for sure, as they could hide the single player story mode behind a premium account.
Even for 20$ people would surely take it, as it could feature story mode where you unlock some extra multiplayer stuff, additional modes (challenges and side missions) and perhaps additional ways to customize and personalize your ships as well.
