Topic: a new update so soon?

I tried to visit the eShop and it told me i had to update the system!

Maybe its just a patch. I am updating right now.

...Yup, an update...I thought this thing was supposed to do automatic updates now? o_0

They did say they were gonna patch that thing with Ridge Racer problem when they gave us the details of the eShop update

My guess is that this fixes Ridge Racer, which would explain why they updated so quickly. Either that or they're attacking flashcard owners, since they already found a workaround for the 2.0 update. I still lean on the former, though.

Probably what Dark said...cause Nintendo's 3DS site didn't say anything new...

Well, i can't see anything new in the eShop either _{(except for that valet parking game that wasn't there before)}

Yeah nothing on the Shop...and they said about the Auto's on the last update notification...grrr.

Huh. Yeah like stated before it's probably that Ridge Racer patch. Can anyone who owns Ridge Racer verify this?

Could it have been something to do with the charging problem? The one where the light on the 3DS won't shut off after a full charge? Maybe the update fixed that.

Good point to bring up...and my 3DS needs charging. Time to test it!

Has the whole "black screen of death" thing been cleared up since the eShop update? If not it might finally fix that. Although I haven't heard any black screen complaints since the eShop so probably not. More likely a Ridge Racer patch or the charge light thing.

I haven't had a black screen problem since the eshop update. It also fixed some of the issues that plagued StreetPass Mii Plaza. The icon spinning issue is gone as well. So I'm guessing Ridge Racer.

It sure as hell didn't fix my @#$*ing broken Link's Awakening. Did I ever mention I had to keep my 3DS on for over 24 hours to complete the game because every time I would save and quit and/or create a restore point, the next time I turned on my 3DS all my data would be completely gone? No? Well that totally happened. And it's still happening. But I'm apparently the only person in the world with that problem, and of course the game is completely amazing, so it didn't affect my review.

Also, deleting/re-downloading it doesn't help. Already tried like three times.
