It may have been mentioned in another post but how do you get the purple pieces in puzzle quest.

And also how does the mario kart 7 street pass work? Does it set the skill of the character your racing against how they would race in single player mode

You just streetpass someone to get them. I don't know if they need the piece or not though.
It gives you a copy of their stats (races won/ lost and coins collected) and their ghost data. You also have the option of racing against them in a cup or online (if they are online)

Yeah thats all well and good but how do you get the piece to street pass it to someone else or recieve it?

So is that it you get a copy of there stats coz i have beaten every one i have street passed. I assumed it would set there skill / driving level. I understand the Time Trial ghost data but not the Grand Prix option.

And on a different subject in swapnote i keep getting the green dot telling me i have a letter but then when i open it it says something like
''letters previously recieved have been deleted''

just put your 3ds in sleep mode. the pieces will transfer automatically. There will then be an arrow in the street pass plaza, just click on it and then go onto puzzle swap and select collect puzzle pieces.
I think the grand prix option might be based on their stats but I'm not 100% sure.

@PinkSpider - I believe that a person's StreetPass character slightly alters their driving style, but the amount of data needed to compile a highly accurate replica of a person's racing style and aggressiveness is (probably) fairly large, and transmitting a person's stats, Grand Prix selections, a 100% accurate ghost for a Time Trial, a way to track when that person is racing online, and that replica is probably too much for StreetPass to handle. If you don't like it, you'll just have to suffer, as Nintendo will never change up the StreetPass features since they can't even be bothered to fix a major glitch within the ...

As for the Purple puzzle pieces in Puzzle Swap, those are supposed to be distributed over SpotPass, though that hasn't happened yet. The only other way to get those pieces would be to StreetPass someone who was lucky enough to get one of those pieces as their starting piece when they first started Puzzle Swap.

I recieved a purple puzzle piece but I dont know where from. My starting puzzle was the Donkey Kong one but I have a purple piece from a Super Mario puzzle that I didnt even know I had. Mabey they just get delivered randomly or mabey through playing games.
