Wouldn't it be neat if when u buy stuff on eshop and u dont like it,they have it where if u delete what ever u bought in 24 hours u get your money back, does anyone think nintendo would every have that or is it just a ridiculous ideal, give your thoughts on it.

The idea is good but too many people would abuse that system. :/

Yeah. I usually just ask around before buying anything.

It's a nice idea, but, as @tynerds37 mentioned, it would be abused like crazy. I know I could see myself "buying" a game to try it out, and if I didn't like it or it was a short game to run through like Antipole, I would just delete it and have played through a good game for free. Besides, Nintendo has mentioned demos of games coming to the eShop soon, so your concept would be pointless by the time Nintendo implemented demos.

Exactly.

They have something very much like that on Steam, PSN, and XBLA.

It's called a "demo"

How about they give you 10 minutes to return it. That would have saved me a lot of money (a few dollars).

They should just do demos. Seriously.

That

Btw, werent they supposed to start doing them with the next update? (which is coming who knows when)

No. It would be horrible. Developers would stop developing for the platform. Android used to have a similar setup and it was abused horribly. Some devs had to pay Google money becuase the way the system works, the dev gets a certain percentage of the sale (for arguments sake, say 70%), but if it is returned, the dev had to pay 100% of the refund - Google kept their initial 30%.

What fun would it be if you got your money back on a bad purchase. That would take all of the fun out of taking a chance.

Plain old gamer :)

If they provide good enough demos, there's no reason for this/ LOCKED!

Yep. I've played games that got high reviews that I didn't like and I've played games that only got average reviews that I liked a lot.

Anyway, my idea is that you could 'rent' downloadable games. You pay a small amount (say a dollar) and be able to download the full game for a an hour. You would only be able to play the game while online though so you can't cheat the system in letting you play for longer.

If you enjoy the game and wish to download it fully, the rental fee comes off the total cost. You can rent games as often as you want but once you reach the cost of the game, its yours to keep.

Again, already available on PSN Plus. Plus members can, for free, download the full game of a range of games, and play for an hour. They can then, if they like the game, buy it, and all the progress they made and Trophies they unlocked remain.

The only time I regret a purchase from an online shop was Zenonia. Really dislike the game.

I could try and play it and force myself to like it like I did wth Starfox Adventures, but I doubt it will happen.

Just gotta make sure you know what you're buying. I'm not one to be a follower and buy games everyone else is buying. I know lots of people that pull that off and end up hating the game they bought. Too bad for them.

Not saying I'm against trying out new games, because I have done that many times. Even though No More Heroes got all this praise, I overlooked it and probably won't bother with that game. Monster Hunter games are new to me and I'm glad I took the chance and time to play it. Though, my decision of getting the game wasn't really influenced by loads of people telling me to get it or anything. Remember getting it first day it released

And I had no one to play with.

Anyhow, demos are on the way (for retail and orginal 3DS downloads only though).

Your idea is great but I would only allow for a 1 or 2 hour money back guarantee period. I think it would be remarkable and help with a lot of sales on games because I don't care if it's $2 or $10, it's still a trust issue when you're locked in and stuck with no way out of it (resale) to get something back if it's crappy. It's all down to trust and a budget, and if either or both of those for you is weak a lot of games will get ignored. I know I'd probably have like dozens of games through Steam and 3DS eShop right now, but I don't, and that's because demos do not exist and many game reviewers on big sites are liars who get swept up into hype stuff or manipulated into scores. I think having timed trials would solve it, but a day seems like a lot to me when most of those piddly games can be offed in a few hours or more.
