@ThomasBW84@Damo@AntDickens SEGA has just announced that they will be localizing their 3DS JRPG 7th Dragon III in North America and it will be released in the region later this year!
@SANTA It looks like someone created the same thread as I was posting this one, feel free to close whichever of the two threads, as we don't need two of them.
@Neko_Ichigofan: It might be easier to use the contact form if you want to get ahold of them rather then calling them out in the forums. I honestly don't think they frequent the forums that much.
@Tasuki The contact form is wonky on the Wii U browser and my messages are rarely received by the staff...btw are you going to get this game at some point? I've heard nothing, but good things regarding the 7th Dragon series.
@BearClaus I'm giving the staff the choice, it's their site and mine has way more posts than the other one at this point so I'd rather it be locked if the staff decide to lock my thread rather then flat-out deleting it.
@Neko_Ichigofan: Ah ok. Probably not I hardly play either the 3DS or the Wii U nowadays. I have very limited game time these days and when I get a chance to play a current gen system I gravitate to the PS4. Of course even the PS4 don't get as much playtime as my retro systems.

That's pretty cool. I just read some stuff about these games recently and apparently the creator of Phantasy Star is behind this series, so it's definitely worth checking out.
Nice! that game was on my list of imports. Glad I can take it off.

I have mixed feelings on this one. Everything I've read so far makes it sound like a non-first-person Etrian Odyssey set in the future (the previous two games certainly look like that), but it has that overly fanservice-y feel to it (plus a dating element) and I prefer my dungeon crawls to be more like classic EO: relatively plotless, punishingly difficult, with an entirely DIY cast.
There's a demo on the eShop for those on the fence about this game. I'm playing it right now. It is kind of cool. Definitely can't wait to play the whole game.
Want: Harvest Moon: One World, Story of Seasons: Pioneering Town, Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury
Finished the Alola Dex.
Now playing New Horizons, Wrath of White Witch and Sword
I played through the demo, and it was pretty decent. The dragons looked pretty cool, and the more modern world was an interesting setting.
I fully explored the one dungeon in the demo, and have my party members at level 9 (10 is the max in the demo). I also found a couple gold versions of the basic rabbit enemies you fight in the dungeon, and they give 700AZ (the currency) each when defeated (most normal enounters net you just over 10AZ).
The party characters seem like they may be fully customizable in the full game (they all seemed pretty generic, as a result, IMO).
Currently Playing:
Switch - Blade Strangers
PS4 - Kingdom Hearts III, Tetris Effect (VR)
I love it and can't wait to play the full game. I loved the look of the dragons and the characters looked pretty cool. I found the rabbit looking doll funny.

...Soooo, how does this work? Do you fight with people or dragons?...Or both? o.0
Anyways I would try the demo, but I'm in the middle of another game. xp
