Topic: 3DSXL 4GB SD CARD! Nintendo Hypocrites?

I know it adds to retail costs, but Nintendo are 'all over' digital downloads. I've currently got everything on my 'Animal Crossing' 3DSXL with a 32GB SD card.
I nearly lost it all trying to transfer (via laptop SD card reader). I have over 45 games on my SD card. I have digitally downloaded a few recent Nintendo releases (rrp / another debate!), PL vs PW:AA taking 13,220 blocks!
If digital downloads are the way forward, 4GB SD cards are a sick joke, even with just downloading eShop titles (not full releases).
Nintendo. Just give 32GB SD cards as standard (charge an extra 15/20 £/$ etc.). Or are you just hypocrites ?!?!?

Not everyone wants/needs a huge SD card.....

But perhaps Nintendo could offer a service through their online store to exchange your SD card for a bigger one when you buy a 3DS, or customize your 3DS with a larger SD card when you buy it?

And it isn't hard to find a good, cheap SD card. Just wait for a sale.

Well, rapidly buying download titles isn't neccessarily what they intended. Besides, by that logic, no console in the world provides enough space on the go.
Also, why put in 32GB cards in XL's and charge full price for them? Just get the system with a separate card (of your preferred size) and you're fine.

LOL, you know PS Vita didn't come with an SD card and from what I heard you can only use Sony Brand SD cards which cost a pretty penny. At least they give you a 4 GB to get you started.

I'm surprised Sony still does this after the backlash and lack of sales after launch

Why not just buy a bigger one yourself if you want Nintendo to put them in and increase the price of the 3DS XL because of it? Lol. What difference would it make if you'd be putting in more money anyway? SD cards aren't that expensive and can be found for pretty cheap if you look around/wait for a sale. Also, not everyone needs that much memory since not everyone buys things digitally, so they may not want to pay slightly more for the 3DS XL because of it. The PS Vita doesn't even include any memory cards either. The newer PS Vita model only has 1GB of internal memory now I think. Lol. So I think starting at 4GB is fine. I didn't like the 2GB for the 3DS though. :T

If you want more space, buy a bigger SD card. You can transfer all old games from your old one to the new one.

I see no reason for Nintendo to ship the systems with bigger memory cards, since not everyone needs an SD card that big, or has one already.

Most bundles come with 8 to 16gb cards and are priced about the same as an 3DSXL though this may change with the 2000 series.

Honestly I'm happy with my 16gb sd card and 4gb is more than enough to get people started and sd cards are dirt cheap anyway.

My cousin still has the original 3DS with the 2GB SD card included on it, and it's more than enough for him. If it isn't enough for you, buy a larger card separately. I think it's better than needlessly increasing the price tag of the console for something that most people wouldn't need.

Cards are so cheap now, just buy a bigger one if you need it b/c most people won't download so much. BTW: Nintendo gave me a free 8GB card when the original one developed some problems... sweet!

You are free to buy whatever SD card you please, and you may as well thank your lucky stars Nintendo didn't make the Sony decision to go with a proprietary form of media requiring you to pay whatever crazy prices they demand in order to go digital. If you honestly want to give Nintendo your feedback, here's the site you want. Enjoy!
