i think they are keeping DSiware, but i was wondering if they'll make a whole NEW line of 3DSware games
5. Posted: Fri 18th Jun 2010 02:15 BST
They might. They might not. But they are keeping DSiWare.

It would be nice if It would be like the Wii Shop Channel where there is a menu in which you can chose if you want to look at Virtual Console | WiiWare | Wii Channels but it would be Virtual Handheld | 3DSWare | DSiWare (maybe 3DS Channels?).

I'm guessing they will. It wouldn't really make sense to have something major like that missing, when it's in a previous system. I just hope they allow you to transfer 3DSware/DSiware. You know, you might want to word it differently so that it sounds like you're asking for our opinion. Writing short, choppy questions like that makes it seem like you're a 5 year old who thinks we know everything about everything.
Just let it happen.

Probably, but if the DSi remains a current syatem, sytems, they could just rename it plain old DSWare and have Ware games for DSi and 3DS.

Once I get a 3DS, I'm downloading a bunch of G&W games.
Do they have Scrabble yet?

You know, now that I think about it, virtually all the games they made specifically for the DSi were DSiWare, so what's to say most of the 3DS games won't be 3DSware? I don't think they've specified whether any of the 70+ games coming are going to be retail or downloadable, and when you consider all the talk of remakes and the fact that N64 games were small enough to be downloadable on VC, it doesn't seem implausible. I think it cuts down on piracy (I can't say I've heard of people pirating DSiWare the way people do with standard DS games) and it cuts out the retailers so Nintendo stands to make more money even if the games are cheaper.

Even though Nintendo patented 3DSWare, it doesn't necessarily mean that the 3DS will actually have 3DSWare. Of course, odds are that we will have 3DSWare available for the 3DS, along with what one wishes to be so...downloadable Game Boy series games...(sigh)...with new colour palettes for old Game Boy games...and wireless linkage for all four game types without the need for cables...it'd be really good...
I think that certain Nintendo reps accidentally spilled the beans anyway regarding the pricing for Game Boy games (500 for Game Boy, Dual Mode and Color-only titles and 800 (Premium) for Game Boy Advance titles), except that this was at presentations of the DSi, not the 3DS. They probably spilled the nutrient-filled, song-producing fruit about a 3DS feature before covering it up by stating it to be for DSi instead (this is months before anybody even knew about 3DS); "Coming soon will be Game Boy and Game Boy Advance titles, available for download in the built-in shop of the Nintendo Thr...er...DSi (phew, almost put my foot in it there!)"
"Pay me 20 Rupees and I'll talk."
"Never forget the comfort of freshly-washed shorts."

StarFox - They have 2 Scrabble games on DSiWare currently, and a third one on the way.

DITTOAll I use my DSi for is Flipnote Studio. Just imagine Flipnote Studio in 3D! I guess that would suck for the computer veiwers though... But who knows, Nintendo always as a surprise for us!

That's not how stereoscopy works. You can't just take everything 2D and run it trough the 3DS to make it 3D.
Probably getting a Vita with LBP soon...

maybe future flipnote software for 3DS can make it stereoscopic?

OK, put it this way. Take a piece of paper. Try to draw a cube on it that actually goes into the page. That's the kind of "really not going to ever happen" we're talking about here.

3DSWare would be nice, but I can live without it. A Virtual Handheld is all I want. I would probably buy every GB, GBC, GBA and GG game if they are decent or better. There are just so many games from that era that I want to try.
