So this morning my 3ds was in red light, so i plugged it into my charger which is plugged into the wall. then left for work
i came home to find my system fully charged, but off (the system was on before i left) the clock is fine so is street pass, I occasionally use my game
it hasent been used much, so I want to get this checked on before i have to replace a 200$ system.
Something like this has happened to me once before, and nothing happened as a result. I wouldn't worry about it unless it happens frequently.

does it make this... electronic click sort of sound when it switches off?
my (first model) 3DS does this. if i "squeeze" or "twist" the unit a tiny bit during play it will just turn off instantly, then sometimes take a few presses of the power button to come back on. this doesn't always happen though, just sometimes.
Was it near another electronic device? Even something as small as say a Samsung SCH-U450 can interfere with the power. Give it about a week and it might work. My 3DS XL has done the same.
