Topic: 3DS XL Dpad problem

i was playing my 3ds yesterday and realized that the left direction on it is becoming unresponsive. normaly i would go to the Nintendo support forums but when i log in and go there i get a server error.
so here i am. does anyone know a way to fix this issue before i resort to opening it up and getting my hands all over its motherboard?

Yeah, the 3DS has one of the worst D-pads in existence same as the Gamecube controller... Blowing on certain parts of the 3DS always works 60% of the time

i tried blowing in the left side of it and nothing happened. maybe i should try a compressed air canister or something. but i dont know.

Well before opening up I would try to contact Nintendo.

its out of warrenty so all they would do is just laugh or ask for an obscene amount of cash like they did when it was STILL under warrenty.

ok i got a can of the air duster stuff and that didnt help

That doesn't make any sense. They have to honor the warranty, unless it's messed up, because you did something to it.
