The last 2 days I've been having trouble connecting my 3DS XL to the internet. Everything was working fine, and then yesterday morning during a wonder trade, the connection randomly dropped and it hasn't connected again since. I've deleted the data for my 3DS and entered all the information again, it then connects to the internet (I can see via my friends list!), but then it drops again after a minute. It does say I'm connected to the internet on the touch screen of my 3DS.
This isn't happening with any other device connected to the internet, just my 3DS XL!
I have had that problem when my local primary DNS server was down. (First working one in the DHCP provided ones was the 3rd which no other device had a problem with other than the 3DS). Dunno about the second because it shouldn't have been like that in the first place.
Hardcoding Google public DNS. 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 works if that is the problem you are having. (Significantly more convenient than typing the lot in manually).
