I'm not sure theres already been a discussion of this yet. So after reading that article of how crossplaying between 3DS and Wii U will work for Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate, I was curious to hear other people's ideas for games that could also make good use of crossplay. So any suggestions? I'd love to hear what you'd have to say!
I think your in the clear there was a crossplay thread but it was more of a vs thread than an ideas thread here it is different enough for the two of them I think.

Ah, I see! But that appears to simply ask people which they think is best, 3DS/Wii U or PS3/Vita. This discussion is for games that could work well with crossplay between 3DS and Wii U only. Thanks for the info!
Since this would only be used for stuff like transfarring, I don't see it being huge. If we want assymetrical gameplay, the tablet is right there, and is (based on impressions) a lot more comfortable to hold and more versatile than the 3DS.
As for other games that will utilize it, Nintendo seems to be taking a "create games specifically for a platform" approach, so we'll only be seeing this from third parties, or in very insignificant ways. Yes, I know the new Smash game is planned to interact with each version, but outside of that, I don't see much. In my eyes, that's better for both systems.
Hopefully that DQX app for 3DS with DQX WiiU version

A Pokemon Snap sequel would be perfect for both systems XrosPlay. (what...Digimon spells it Xros >:[ ) Play on the console, transfer your data, play on the go, and transfer it back. Both could have motion or traditional controls. Share pictures to a special online gallery for Pokemon Snap where you can see pictures taken in either game on either console. 3D pictures can be saved to your game from the gallery and transferred to the 3DS to be seen in 3D. (or just go on the gallery with your 3DS.) It's TOO perfect.
I actually started a thread similar but different to this one over the summer. It was about using the 3DS+CPP as a Wii U controller in games like SSB and Mario Kart.
