Topic: 3ds wifi conectivity, good or bad?

I have 40mb bt infinity broadband with the latest bt router which i might add is fantastic and ive been very happy with it, i have 2 blackberry's contected, laptop, xbox 360 all of which work great wifi with the router, however when i comes to the WII its all hit and miss, when using the everybody votes channel and news and weather channels they seem fine but with ninendo's shop and trying to play mario kart or animal crossing online i get error 99% of the time? why is this? and with my buying a 3ds this week will that be the same?

Are you referring to Mario Kart Wii? It could be a p2p issue; I've had quite a few of these myself. I recommend going to http://support.nintendo.com and entering the error codes when prompted.

As for the 3DS, there's nothing really noticeable so far. Online shop works fine for me though there may be times of maintenance without warning. As for online games I can't tell you anything

I have infinity also and my 3DS works fine. It automatically connects when a valid connection is available which is great because Nintendo gets free WiFi from the 'Cloud' and as a BT customer you will be able to set up BT openzone as one of your connections and get free WiFi using your Fon account.

...as far as Online games, I have DoA, SF4 & RE Mercs. All work well online generally. Mercs usually has an issue when you first try to connect but then ok afterwards.
