Topic: 3DS vertical top screen scratches

I know this has been posted before, but I just wanted to get some advice pertaining to the vertical scratches that appear on the 3D screen, likely due to the touch screen scratching it. My 3DS has 2 of them, and they are becoming worse and worse by the day. Is this covered under warranty? And if they repaired it, would they also adjust my system so that the scratches wouldn't appear again in the future, or would I have to do that myself? Any advice would be much appreciated.

You have to call their customer service and tell them about your problem. If you do it via the website they will charge you but if you call them they should do it for free. Once you get it back, i suggest keeping a cloth used to clean glasses between the two screens. Its worked for me so far.

@kobe1724 - To answer your questions bluntly, yes (provided your warranty is still valid) and hopefully (but you should take some precautions on your own regardless). Be sure to call NOA about it to set up the repair (provided that your warranty is valid); their e-mail system is a mess.

Exactly.

There is a self repair video I saw a few days ago, the two rubber bumps can be expanded yourself pretty easily, you just get double sided tape, cut it 1mm and pull out the bumpers and attach them to the bottom and put it back in your 3ds and there you go, new bumpers.
