Topic: 3DS Tweaking Ideas

The 3DS is a pretty impressive device ( given the fact that it's a handheld ) but there some things I wish it had that it doesn't. For example, you should be able to take screenshots of suspended software. Anyways tell me what you think would make the 3DS better; if you get the chance to see this.

@Freak_Show That should be a feature! I've tried that before and couldn't figure out why it didn't work.

I think that a video chat feature might be in order. It's got a camera and a mic, so it could work.

Yeah @True_Hero. And for that matter, why can't we watch non-3D vids on YouTube?

Honestly I think putting features mentioned above would be cool and take out the 3d part, lol. I never use the 3d, I only bought the 3ds for the games it offered. 3d is overhyped.

And Maybe a longer battery-life (However that might be my fault).

What the 3DS really needs is the ability to communicate with people you've played with online (strangers most likely). Won't MiiVerse allow us to do that?

PPS: @florecita You've never played Tekken in 3D?! It's looks amazing. Too bad you can't use it during online matches. By the way, how did you find my mini forum?

Well Mr.FS, I was going to check the sytle savvy forum and I saw your username and I thought what is this crazy guy up to now? And yeah I've tried to play tekken with the 3d on but it kinda makes me dizzy after a while.

Yeah same here Barbiegurl, I always keep my 3d off. If they had made and option of an upgrade of the ds but had the same feature as the 3ds w/out the 3d part of it. I would have rather buy something like that and pay less.

I think the 3D effect is pretty great. It's not what sold me on the system, but it really adds the extra "wow" factor to certain games. I can only imagine how nice Kid Icarus: Uprising must look on an XL.

@MadAussieBloke - Yeah, the Wii U does do most of that already. It still would be fun to be able to video chat with friends through the 3DS. It would be nice for trips, I'd imagine.

It's a Nintendo social network (of sorts) that was launched with WiiU. I read rumors a while back that we'd see a 3DS equivalent at some point... only rumors, according to me.
I would love to have some of the features we have on Miiverse come to 3DS. VChat, posting screenshots and high scores! Hopefully, Miyamoto will get his wish (about 3DS and WiiU connectivity) and incorporate 3DS with NintendoNetwork!

Wish the 3DS had some stiffer buttons too. My R button feels like it's about to fall off and whenever I play MK7 I mash the hell out of my A button. ( I don't know why my name would show up under 'Style Savvy' @florecita )

I think the XL fixed the button issues greatly. However, I wish the D-Pad were a bit more like those on the Wii U, Lite, etc rather than the clicky version, andmy hinge is ever so slightly loose. (You can't notice it much unless you look specifically for it.)
