Its been about 1 1/2 months since i got KI:U and the bundled stand. this thing is amazing. i forgot how well you can get in control of everything in games. its also strong beeing able to hold 5 pounds! amazed and happy as i am to use it, i must find a table at a comfortable level to use the 1st party accessory. i'd give this 4.5 mushroom land coins out of 5 for how sturdy it is... if you find a table.

I never even took it out of the box until months after I got the game, just out of curiosity. I've used it once and found it cumbersome as I like to play my games on my bed. Haven't used it since and I can play the game just fine.

i hardly use mine, but when i do, i find myself not getting motion sick on the games with weird render methods. (I get motion sick on games with super contrasted colors right next to each other at all times/ no shadows or really bad shadow work.)

It will hold the XL. Nintendo said so.

Also, I have the Extended Battery for my DS.
I don't use either cradle when it recharges. but i do use the stand...lol
The stand is terrible when playing Kid Icarus. I can balance the 3DS just fine with one hand and still play perfectly.

I've never used the stand myself.
I find the 3DS extremely comfortable to hold as it is and I've never had a single hand cramp from playing it so I don't really need the stand.

I love the stand for Swapnote(Letterbox) and the Internet browser. the stand helps me use two styli for insanely fast typing

I thought the stand wouldn't be a big deal at first, but now I use it a lot, and not just for Kid Icarus Uprising. I even play other 3DS games on it and find my posture to be better.

it works the best for pokemon IMO. also for racing games. im just waiting for the driving sim to begin development(may never happen) but the stand will make the game very easy and comfortable to manage.

I used the stand to watch the E3 2012 Press Conference and the Nintendo Directs. Its great to have it in an upright position without holding it or folding it, with the chance of it closing on you.

Count me among the Pro-Stand'ers out there. I never play Icarus using it, but the stand works beautifully as a tri-pod if you're doing any kind of 3D video or time-lapse photography. Still a bizarre peripheral to include, and am somewhat shocked they chose to do this... but I"m happy they did.
