I was out on a jog listening to music on my 3DS when suddenly it started rapidly changing songs so that I could only hear a second of it. I restarted the system and it turned back to normal. I am wondering if you guys have encountered the same problem and if so, how often will this happen?

I havent had that happen to me before but I never use my sound app often so what I said doesn't really matter

Could of had the d-pad stuck? If you were jogging it might of hit the d-pad causing it to change to the next song... but I've never had this problem before, so I don't know how much help I can be. :3

Did you carry your 3DS in a case while jogging? I like jogging but haven't even considered taking my 3DS yet. It's too heavy to wear in pockets while running and I don't like carrying things in my hands when running.

@ Bubbab - why did you even respond then?

I had one weird glitch too, similar, but not like yours. Apparently my music would just randomly stop playing...and may continue again seconds later. No clue what's causing it...but it hasn't done so in a while now.

No it was in my pocket. Personally I don't think it's that heavy. It's great for the Play Coins as well.

Likely your earbuds. 3DS Sound supports those in-line remotes to skip songs/pause music. I bet your earbuds were loose or something...

Well yeah it's not heavy as in one couldn't carry it while running. I just don't like stuff swinging around in my pockets while running. But yes, play coins. I leveled up so many pokemon in HeartGold running with my pokewalker too, that thing was fun.
