Everyone I know whom has played both prefers DOAD, yet the gaming media seem to have preferred SSFIV (usually putting it just one spot higher on "best of" 3DS lists). Odd...
That's because fighting games aren't meant to be played alone. They're competitive games, and from a purely competitive stance, SSFIV kicks DOA up and down the block. Sure it has less singleplayer content, but find a good group of people you can actually compete with, and it'll last you way longer than any singleplayer ever could.



The only fighters I've ever played were a few of the Mortal Kombat games.
