Ok in a few weeks here I am going to be picking up the Flame red 3DS (I already have it on reserve) and I am looking for some games for it. Games I'm NOT interested for the following reasons. Other than that I am open to any and all ideas whether its a VC, or cartridge. Oh and I am going to pick up Star Fox 3D since I have never played that and Super Mario Land.

Anyway heres what I'm NOT interested in:

Ocarina of Time — I already have several versions of this including the original gold cartridge. If I really want to play it I will play one of the copies I have.

SSFIV 3D: I have the Arcade edition on the Xbox 360 already so if I really want to play it I can play that besides if I really really want it I will wait till they have a Supreme Arcade Turbo Hyperfighting Championship World Title Edition before I go buying this one.

Pilotwings Resort: Wasnt a big fan of the original one I might get this one down the road but its not a priority right now.

I think that is all for now thanks in advance for your suggestions.

I recommend Dead or Alive Dimensions, It's a really nice fighter and is still being updated with all sorts of new Throwdown challenges, costumes, and more. Plus It's fun!

I also recommend Pac-Man & Galaga Dimensions. Nice little package with tons of fun in it.
Also Resident Evil The Mercenaries - GREAT game.

Hope I Helped. You should get one of those games

I second the DoA Dimensions suggestion; that game is the best showcase of 3D of any 3DS game yet, and some solid fighting mechanics to back that up.

I do NOT recommend Mercenaries. Two dimensional drawings have greater depth. It's a supremely limited package.

Other recommendations for you:

Samurai Warriors Chronicles: Yes, it's me recommending this, but this game has turned a lot of people into fans of the series. Tecmo Koei work with 3D really, really well. You'll easily get 20+ hours out of that game.

PES - If you're into soccer, this game plays pretty well. It's no FIFA, but it's a game you can still get into.

Tom Clancy's Shadow Wars - This tactics game is lengthy, challenging, and addictive. If you enjoy the likes of Fire Emblem and Advance Wars, here's a good one.

I can easily recommend Resident Evil: The Mercenaries... If you can find it for $19.99

The game, while short, is still possibly one of the few best 3DS titles out right now and if anything the Online Co-Op makes it worth it. But don't spend $39.99, that is just too much for this little gem.

Mercenaries is a terrible game. If you can find it for $20 or less, get it otherwise stay away from this!

Now I can highly recommend Ocarina of Time 3D since that's my favorite game on the 3DS. Used, new, you can't go wrong. :D

Just for you.

I'm gonna buy Chocobo Racing the moment the shops open.

In fact, I'm gonna line up for it. It'll be a line of one person, but that will only make me feel more special.

Then, depending on whether the game is good or not I'll either squeal in glee or rage. :P

Resident Evil: The Mercenaries 3D is a good game, I don't know what all these other people are talking about saying that it's not worth it, but in my opinion I don't think a game should be dissed on unless by someone who actually BOUGHT the game and didn't like it

Ok. I bought the game and didn't like it.

There we go. It's an empty game. It's little more than a few small maps, spawning enemies and a handful of characters. The online coop adds something to it, but thanks to the 3DS' poor friends system, it's hard to organise games with friends. It might control well and look ok, but people really should be warned that it's like passing off boiled water as minestrone soup. Some people like boiled water, sure, but if you're on the fence with this game it's probably better to pass on it.

As I said in my post I already have 3 versions of Ocarina of TIme (Gold cartridge n64, Gamecube collecton disc, Wii VC) and as much as I love the game I dont really need another copy of it. Besides I am looking for something that I havent played before.

I have to say after seeing the split decision here on RE Mercenaries I am kinda curios of it now but I dont think I will pick it up new maybe at a used price.

Thanks for suggetions guys and keep them coming

A very long time ago like in 2006 or 2007 a DS game came out around the same time as Children of Mana with two characters one that was made strong by the sun and the other by the moon. It was like a sci-fi RPG. Does anyone recall what it was called? I've been looking for it but to no avail.

I'd recomend Devil Survivor Overclocked.

It surpassed my expectations across the board. The story doesn't just jump in either, you're given time to adjust and whatnot. I thought the voice acting was pretty good too, though if you're not for it, you can turn it off. The combat starts off like FF Tactics, using a grid-based system. But when you engage it switches to a 2D perspective. Also, you don't ever have to grind if you don't want to, it never requires that.
I'd say this game has as much depth as Ocarina does. The sheer amount of customization they packed in this cart boggles my mind.

This'll take you a good time to complete, and I'm pretty sure you'll enjoy all of it. I'd say this game has a little more meat than the other titles out there.

Thaaaaaanks for noticin' me.

Ok not sure about this one anyone recommend Sims 3 on the 3DS. I have the PC version but I like the idea of being able to play this one at school in between my classes.

It's ok. It's limited compared to the PC game, but I've still had a few hours of entertainment about it.
