Topic: 3DS Price Is High!!! Look at the Ipad 2!

No amount of stupid wagglefests could be worth Infinity Blade and NOVA!!! iPad 2 beats ALL!!!!!!!!111oneone.

All of the current gaming platforms — including iDevices — have amazing games on them. You can't judge a book by its cover. In other words, look beyond Angry Birds, Wii Sports, Halo, and Killzone, and you might be surprised.

Looking beyond and I see....more $2 crap games. :/

I actually think the 3DS is not overpriced. For what comes with the system, I think it's completely justified. However, my problem is that the software that comes with the 3DS is more-or-less useless apart from using it for 5-minute distractions, which is the gap that the software was meant to fill. And besides, most of the games that I want for the system aren't even out yet. Why buy a system that doesn't have any games that I want to play?

Oh, and Apple always overprices their products. I could (and do) save hundreds of dollars and get better hardware by avoiding whatever Apple puts out.

I think the 3DS is overpriced for what it does. I also think the iPad 2 is overpriced for what it does. I have no problem with the games on the app store, as there are more hardcore games there right now than there are on the 3DS. Sure, that will change with time, but the app store also has plenty of good arcade-style games.

Now, if you're looking for a deep, well-written story and want to go on a big, epic quest, then you should definitely get the 3D...., no, just get a DS. With no "3" in front of it. Books, movies, and other gaming systems are also good for that purpose. The 3DS will get there eventually, but it's not there yet.

@3DSneedsRPGs: Bottom line: Everything is relative. If all you want to do is piss and moan about it and try to fuel the fanboy bullcrap, please do it elsewhere; NL already went through all this back when the 3DS first hit, and that was enough, thank you.
