I think what Apple have tried to do is capture the people who aren't proper gamers, just casual people to play their games. Anyone with any beforehand gaming experience would far prefer games that are produced by Nintendo and think 'Well, this is a load of crap', but people are attracted to them because they're like 99p, but no amount of Angry Birds could be worth Ocarina Of Time, Mario Kart, other Zelda games, Final Fantasy, the Mario franchise, Megaman, Pokemon, Pheonix Wright, Monster Hunter, The Conduit.... i could name hundreds more.
99p games aren't set to gaming levels! They're just things people'll pick for entertainment worth time spent in a loo, or at a boring office. What iffs me is that Apple already think they're one of the top guns, and their tendency to disregard people of a lower spending rate on technology.

I think that you can say in conclusion that Apple is for everyday morons who don't care about the quality of gaming and just think of it as a time filler, yet a very expensive time filler. Basically they have no life. Nintendo players are people who have a background in gaming, and see gaming as a fun thing to do, and care about the quality of what they're buuying, and won't settle for some cheap Apple . you do have to realize that the iPad 2 is a vastly superior piece of technology that uses more expensive components, and most likely costs more to make, as well as being i.e. an actual computer, while a 3DS is for gaming and a few other things, thus needing a higher retail price to make a profit?

Anyway, here's my take on this lovely thread (I'm not being sarcastic, this thread rocks!) I despise Apple and all the drones who blindly buy into Apple's products and get excited over the next i-whatever when the last one was released 6 MONTHS PRIOR!! Apple is quite literally my least favorite company on earth. I like not even one thing about them. I also strongly dislike Microsoft and Sony but at least I can find SOMETHING good to say about those two...
