There's so many people going on about how high the 3DS price is. It was £187 at launch, and now it's £164.99 on Amazon. Has anyone else noticed Apples massive overpricing? Ipad 2 16gb - £469.94 Ipad 64gb - £580.99. And it's not just Apple! PS3 Slim £200. Xbox 360 with kinect £269.99.
I'm not saying these consoles aren't great - XBOX 360 aside - but why is everyone going mad bout the price? The DSi XL was around £160 at launch, am i the only one who thinks this is an unfair attack on Nintendo?

Not to go off topic, but motion controls have been around for 5/6 years now: yet people are buying Move/Kinect for over 200 pounds? WHUT. The Wii's dropped to 99 pounds now, I believe sales will be lost for Sony and Microsoft temporarily too. But then again, with Wii 2 coming out... come on. Another new revolution, they come out with motion controls now. Darn, that's... That's just rough on 'em.

It can't be that expensive to make though. If you find China Wholesalers of the 3DS you find it for about £50, you can't say the Ipad can cost that much more to make, and if it does it's price is way too high for what it actually does, the Netbook I'm using now is only £200. + don't they're adverts just piss you off, making it seem like their product actually matters for your everyday life.

Come now, the iPad 2 is a glorified PDA/netbook thingamajig. It is terribly overestimated, and I can get myself a similar product with vastly similar features for under 100 pounds. For flip's sake, I'd get myself a palmtop!

Yes, but have you seen what Apple have been trying to do. They claim Angry Birds is superior to Ocarina Of Time, they think that the Ipad is a better way of gaming to Nintendo, Sony's and Microsoft's Consoles & unfortunately, some are buying it, mostly because of the price, but these people who play these games have never experienced the brilliance of games like Ocarina of Time, they've only played 5 minute games that probably take 30 seconds to produce and are a pile of utter crap.
i personally think the iPad is a waste of money. It's just an oversized iPhone. >_>
I agree completely. I have an iPod touch, and yeah a bigger version would be cool, but I would never pay 700$ for one. I don't see how it sells so well unless people somehow think it's different than the iPhone.

Please, not another compilation of mobile gaming tripe that automatically deems itself superior due to rookie popularity. The true gaming population begs to differ.
