The website is now open.. The site allows you to upload and browse photos from your 3DS. Every week Nintendo's going to pick the "Best 3D pics of the week." I'm really excited this is available now, because I mostly use my 3DS camera for 3D pics or to snap a quick picture of something that caught my eye. I'm happy to be able to share those pictures easily now.
Nintendo will approve the pictures before they can be seen by others. Post them here in the meantime if you really want to share them, and discuss tips for taking pictures with the camera's awful quality.
Tried this out and it's pretty dissapointing.
Don't know why I expected the site to load fast. There's an age restriction on uploading images. That's no fun. The gallery is really basic. I uploaded a few pictures. Wonder if any will get approved. Won't be using this as much as I thought.
Well, it's kind of funny how bad their online strategy has been, if you look at it from a certain perspective.
But yeah, it is. It's already climbing rapidly up my list of favorite games ever; check it out. I got the new avatar along with a bunch of others and concept art, wallpapers, etc. by buying it from the developer's website (http://www.tinyandbig.com) through the Humble Store. You also get DRM-free Win, Mac, and Linux versions as well as a Steam key for the Soundtrack Edition (game has an amazing soundtrack). Don't I just sound like a walking advertisement.
Fire is more fun with friends, kids!

Wow, they sure made it cumbersome. I hate that you have to re-enter your e-mail address and everything for each photo you submit. Also, when you're viewing photos you have to load the 2D version, then separately hit the tab to view the 3D version: would be so much easier and faster to just load the 3D version in the first place (if I didn't want to see the photos in 3D I'd have my slider switched off). I like that they have it set up so you can scroll to the pictures to the left and right in the gallery, but it doesn't seem to work from the first photo for some reason.
I can't find them from their site yet, but if you go to these pages in your browser they have QR codes that you can read from the 3DS camera to take you directly to the pages.
Yeah, I got e-mails from NOA, but it was weird: they sent me e-mails for the 2nd and 3rd photos about 2 hours after, and then it was like another 3 hours before my 4th photo got approved. I don't know why my 1st one wasn't approved, because it probably had the best 3D of the lot: it was the only one of my 4 photos that I shot in Canada instead of the US, so I wonder if NOA is biased, lol.
Finally got approval emails from Nintendo today. Only 3 of the 4 I submitted we're approved too. The one they didn't approve had a Digimon in it, so I guess you can't upload copyrighted characters. No surprise though.
