3DS has Monster Hunter. If you really think the Vita can compete with this then you're crazy.

The Vita has sold 321,407 units in 2 days. That's pretty effing good, considering this is 46% of Sony's total shipment.

I hope Vita sells well. I want it to have good software support, and not a repeat of the PSP.

If Vita can keep that up and sustain some decent sales, then that's good. I just don't want to fork out £300+ for a Vita on Launch day only for it to lose all it's support within a year.

3DS has a bit of a head start but in the end I still think it will wipe the floor with the Vita.
Nintendo handhelds are just untouchable.
The Gamegear had color and slightly better graphics and Gameboy still ate it for breakfast.

If Nintendo's handhelds are untouchable then why are they selling less in the opening two days?

I had read about this. It's good news for 3DS, as I was afraid it would end up like GameCube sales compared to PS2 sales. Glad to hear Nintendo is ahead. I guess it's because they reach a broader audience.
EDIT: Also, just look at what competition Nintendo has had in the past. The Game Gear was a huge rival during the Gameboy era, but GB still beat it. DS outselled PSP by millions. Other handhelds could barely compare.

I'm happy to hear that. Don't get me wrong, though, I still want the Vita to perform well BECAUSE it's a handheld gaming system and not a cell phone. I just don't want it to do as well as the 3DS.

I agree with Link79. Nintendo's handhelds usually sell like hot cakes.

Also, the reason the 3DS didn't sell as well as the DS is because of the high price tag, after the price drop, the 3DS really started to pick up and now I'm getting StreetPass hits like crazy! I think the 3DS is going to beat the Vita, personally.

I still wish the Vita the best of luck, but I honestly don't think it will win this generation. Let's be honest, Nintendo sells.
