What I want is a mail system that works with spotpass. Like if you're out or your friend is out and you can't IM him, write him a mail, then when he goes by a spotpass point, he gets the message. BAM. Suddenly you're getting spotpass hits every hour, instead of the sparse hits we've been getting so far

3D Youtube would be great indeed. A lot of free demos and 3D trailers are kind of a must too in my opinion. I can't think of anything else that would really fit the 3DS right now.
3D Chat will not work unless you are constantly switching from the back of the screen to the front of the 3DS. It is not possible to make a 3D video with the camera under the screen
but you could send a live feed of "what the person is looking at" in 3D. I could see Nintendo doing that..... if they ever did video calls. A "we can talk about what you're looking at" sort of thing, very Nintendo.
I think that would be cool but, like many others here, I mostly just want a web browser, 3D youtube and social media. That'd be good. I also think it'd be a missed opportunity if they didn't have a way to watch movie trailers with their video service they were talking about. Although if they did 3D Youtube maybe that would happen assuming more trailers are uploaded to youtube in 3D........

I think skywake was talking about youtube videos that were already in 3D. There's even a special setting for 3D screens like the one on the 3DS (or at least there used to be...I don't know if it was taken out.)

I hope they add a preference setting for the scaling of DS games, ie allow you to change it to original resolution if that's your preference rather than having to remember to always hold down Start & Select. A very minor request and possibly one I wouldn't actually find that useful as I can't imagine I'll be playing that many DS games on the system, but you never know.
