Topic: 3DS LL (XL) thread.

No second circle pad? Boo. I'm going to wait for the inevitable 3rd revision but I do like the size of it. The 3DS cramps up my hands after a while because it's so small.

It's a matte finish.

The d-pad looks soft and less cheap and less hand-cramp-inducing.

It's effing huger.

So...What I wanna know is:
Can you transfer saved StreetPass Data and Virtual Console data? (Progress included)
Will it make DS and DSiWare games look better?

I can already see how good it makes 3DS games, so if it's a Yes to both of those then I'll have to give in.

I'm getting one. I definitely want a bigger screen. My eyes aren't what they used to be...

Plus then I'll have two 3DS', so I can make someone play with me.

Now that I think about it I'm actually glad they won't make a second circle pad. Locks out many less games.

I'll pick one up asap...

For your first question, when system transfering, you transfer anything that comes with the SD Card, this includes photos Streetpass data, and all eShop Data, as if you never had that hunk of junk we are all currently playing.
As for DS and DSiware, due to it's largeness, that overcomes even the DSiXL, I doubt it.

Thanks. I didn't know if transferring from 3DS to 3DS would make you lose progress like DSi to 3DS.

I do hope it'll fix DS resolution, as the reason (Not sure cuz I'm too lazy to check) it was so blurry was that it stretched to fit the 3DS screen, while it wouldn't have top be stretched awkwardly from a transition of DSiXL to 3DSXL.

Did that make sense? I don't think so...

Oh well. DS games still looking blurry wasn't a problem for me with the normal 3DS. I just hoped...

@TysonQ7: Well, at least VC and DS games in 1:1 mode will look bigger (bigger pixels)!

The lack of an AC adapter isn't a big concern for me, since I have one for my DSi.

Just so everyone understands, this is a second SKU, not really a revision. It'll likely be sold alongside the existing one, just like the DSi XL.

I've got 2 Extra AC adapters BESIDES the one I use for my 3DS. No clue how I got them, but I'm good on that front.

Sort of want. Yes, it is massive. But I almost exclusively play 3DS at home, so that isn't really a bad thing. But I would NEVER be able to take the sucker out to get streetpasses. Unless I am wearing my backpack, or decide to wear a purse (nooo thanks), it won't work.

Honestly, I just really love how it is styled to look very similar to the WiiU gamepad.

I think this may also have something to do with Wii U connectivity...

This is clearly the console for hardcore gamers. I'm exited to play games like Sims 3 Pets, Super Mario 3D Land, and Nintendogs on that device.
