Topic: 3DS ideas for a better experience

1. Helmet attachment - allowing your head movement control the camera in games. maybe tilting head down moves you forward, tilting head to side will turn your view. blowing into the microphone will cause attacks. etc... shaking head in a NO left right left right = spin attack. etc..

2. Detachable bottom screen with bluetooth/wireless communication to top screen. - this would allow for the top screen to be fixed position preventing eyes from loosing the 3d effect. also if you want my first idea to work better, then having a detachable controller would b egreat..

3. Wiimote functionality - if they cant do the detachable option, then giving us the option to use the wiimote to control the ds would be a great option for games like street fighter 3ds. but , imagine if you put them all together.

4. head attachment plus wiimote controller. - viritual reality experience...

@ All head attachment ideas: My god, NO. That's exactly what the Virtual Boy was, and that was a complete flop.

@ Detachable bottom screen idea: Although that could be pretty cool, I can see a ton of people losing track of their screens.

@ Wiimote idea: I can't see anyone waving a Wiimote around while trying to concentrate on a tiny portable screen. How would you set the 3DS down to use the wiimote? Plus, along with the helmet idea, it totally ruins the whole portability concept.

Games that are not only good, but also fantastic. Games that keep us going back for more long after we've finished them for years to come.

Wiimote wouldn't be for motion control, it would be for your basic dpad A and B button vertical controller game play. basically its an option. you dont have to but can use it if you want to or think it might help .. besides, i get tired holding the game upright sometimes and wish i could drop my arms down ... so place the ds on something at eye level, and then you can hold the wiimote sideways and control the ds with it wirelessly

the reason the Virtual Boy was a flop was because you couldnt wear it and get motion controls .. the helmet attachment would allow you to walk around the room, or just sit in a comfortable position. and your arms could be relaxed below with the wiimote. virtual boy was heavy and had a tripod like legs that kept you at the table it was on. since the 3DS is so light, you could have a very light helmet setup.. or even glasses...and having it FIXED in front of your eyes prevents you from loosing the 3D hotspot. nomatter where you look youve got it in sight.

But then that would defeat the purpose of "3D without glasses". Nintendo would be shooting themselves in the foot if they did that.

This is equal parts the worst and most hilarious idea I've ever heard on this site.

Seriously. But watching that would be even funnier than watching someone use Kinect.

a better design for the stylus, something less metallic with a grip material. check the wacom pens as an example.

a projector so you can see your gaming on a larger scale, or even make some in-game features.
like some kind of AR card projection you can scan with your camera.
or your map in a rpg/shooter.
or photos you took.
or multiplayer side of view. you see what your ennemy see.

I think the Mic should be a side option, with the main option being typing normally via touch screen keypad.

I will also add the optional Rumble feature for those DS games that had it, and this is for JP only but the Daigasso Band Brothers Expansion Pak as DLC

Glad i'm not the only one who liked the feature. It sure wasn't perfect but fun nonetheless.

Rumble is awesome! All 3DS and DS games should/should've have/had it!
