Topic: 3ds has 3d WOW (not)

What is so great about the 3ds's 3d every Nintendo Console since the N64 has had 3d games I don't get it, and the graphics on the 3ds look the same as the wii. I am only gonna get a 3ds because of the games not the 3d.

Dude, it's a different type of 3D, The 3D you're thinking about is like Mario 64 compared to Mario 3. The 3D 3DS does is like pop-out 3D like at the movies without glasses. And Wii graphics on a portable device are a revolution for our time.

do you know that you can see the games in 3d with the 3ds?
i think you missunderstood what everybody meens with 3d.

When they say 3D, they don't mean the polygons. They mean that there's added depth to the graphics and things pop out at you, like a 3D movie. Also, I think the console-quality graphics are cool.

Yeah, it means 3D space, not polygonal graphics. The 2DS had those.

Depth is what its supposed to add, that's what people are interested in, the 3D part wasn't reffering to polygons.

If you only have one functional eye, it's like the rest of 3D graphics

I'm only gonna get one because of the games that have been annouced (Mario Kart 3ds, Zelda OOT 3D, StarFox 64 3D, Street Fighter 4 3D, Ridge Racer) Not because of the 3d. But what I don't get is on the pics of 3ds games i can't see the 3d Poping out of the screen. Can Anyone help.

Normal computer screens can't show 3D pictures, silly! You either have to find a special screenshot that allows you to cross your eyes to see the 3D (two of the same screenshots for both of your eyes) or do what I do: WAIT FOR THE THING TO SEE IT FOR YOURSELF!

Yeah dude. You need either a special screen and/or special glasses to see 3D. When you actually get the 3DS you'll be able to see it. Not to offend, but you don't really get the concept of 3D.
