Just beat Bit. trip SAGA. While it doesn't even compare to CONPLETE it's still amazing! So many great games In one for such a low price, amazing. Lag in Runner wasn't nearly as bad as people say.

The lag in Runner is completely unaccepatable in my opinion. It's playable.....but lame.

Last game I finished was Resident Evil Revelations. Like most everyone else I had hoped Revelations would be a return to Resident Evil's roots. Unfortunately it wasn't. I had to switch off between playing this and Professor Layton to get my puzzle fix and break up all the shooting and more shooting. It's a fun action game but Resident Evil used to be more. Revelations was also shorter than I expected, but considering it's a handheld game and I didn't spend $40 on it, I'm not really upset with the game length.

SPOILERS The way the final chapter teases you is kind of mean. You scuba deep down to a secret location where you find a frantic audio log and video warning about how Veltro followers have used the T-Abyss virus on themselves in order to guard the evidence you came for. At that point I was thinking I'm going to be scouring this half sunken ship from stem to stern, fending off Veltro mutants in the fight of my life--this game is just getting started! Then the next room you enter has a boss and credits roll. :( Well that was a bit anticlimactic. What was all that suspense building for? I guess Kawata hit his deadline or ran out of money. Oh well. Time for raid mode.

Kid Icarus Uprising

This game turned out to be exactly like I expected and predicted it would be. Ever since I was introduced to Pit in Super Smash Bros. Brawl, I wanted him to finally have a new game. People jeered and poked fun at people like me that had faith that it would happen. They said it would never happen and pointed to other games like Ice Climber to try to prove their point. They never detracted me. I kept the faith, and I was rewarded big-time at E3 2010. Pit had already become one of my favorite Nintendo characters before 2010 and as a fanfiction writer, I wrote my own little story to sort of promote Kid Icarus Uprising on Fanfiction. Net. It was a sequel in which, ironically, Hades was the main villain. And this was back in 2009 when Sakurai was just getting started on Kid Icarus Uprising. Although I didn't portray him as the big, purple guy in the game, I still ended up predicting who the next villain in the Kid Icarus series would be. After Medusa and Orcos, I thought Hades would be perfect, so apparently me and Sakurai think alike.

Anyway, about the game itself, I played it and enjoyed it. I had so much fun. I laughed at the witty dialogue, gasped at the unexpected events (Hades revealing himself after Medusa's defeat, Viridi's reset bomb exploding on top of whole human armies, and the arrival of the Aurum), engaged in the big boss battles, and was overwhelmed at the sheer number of unlockables in the game. I loved the cast of characters, was impressed by the weapon system, and love the music. This game has the best soundtrack I've heard in a Nintendo game in a long time, and it's so good that I have a hard time figuring out what one track is my sole favorite. The controls were a little tricky at first, but I was fine after the second or third chapter and it didn't bother me anymore.

It's almost creepy how accurately I predicted what this game would have. I envisioned full voice acting, an epic story, and big boss battles, and I got all of it. This is one of those rare instances in which all of my expectations are met and exceeded. This game is so amazing. It breaks barriers. It makes a splash with long-reaching ripples. Kid Icarus Uprising is my personal Game of the Year and will maybe be my favorite 3DS game for a long time, and certainly one of my favorite video games of all time. To anyone thinking of buying this game, don't wait. Buy it right now. You will not be disappointed. This game is worthy of your time and energy. Kid Icarus Uprising is an outstanding game and has ensured that the Kid Icarus series is back for good.

Tetris - (VC) B-)
Around 45 minutes of this tetraDookie was all that I could take. Brings back memories, memories of not playing it for more than 15 minutes each time i jammed in the cart when i was the Mullet Muppet of Mappy Land. I still love it...But I think I know the reason why, aside from that retro soaked nostalgia when the GB paved the monochrome green funky way with Tetris blasting into the palm of our radical hands, it's also because of this commercial! And the fact that the cool late 80's dude in it actually sort of looks like me haha. :D

Super Mario 3D Land - It's really stunning to see a handheld that legitimately looks and plays just as fluent as a Wii game.

The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3DS - It's almost as if it's an exact port with updated graphics, but i've heard it wasn't a direct port, and it was instead made from scratch.

Mario Kart 7 - My first Mario Kart game i've finished, but I can never decide what kart and character combination to stick with though.

Backloggery. Now playing: Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze, Klonoa: Empire of Dreams, The Legendary Starfy, Pac-Man World, Rayman 2: The Great Escape, SteamWorld Dig and Wario Land 4.

Resident Evil Revelations. It was a great game, although short to my tastes. I liked how they tried to bring back horror to Resident Evil. Tried.

Sonic Labyrinth (3DS VC/GG). A very short main game, just twelve small-ish levels plus four boss sequences. The basic gameplay is OK, but it's not a good fit for a Sonic game. One of the factory levels (3.3 i think) and the final normal level (4.3) are the only slightly tricky areas in the whole game, once you know the routes there is very little challenge or replay value. Time attack mode only seems to have one level (based on level 1.2) not sure if i have to 3 star it to unlock more levels or is that really it... It's not explained very well in the manual included with the d/l. 5/10

The main gameplay that took place on the ship with Jill and Parker = Good stuff
The episodic Action packed mindless shootouts with uninteresting lack luster stage design = Mediocre.
Those 2 obnoxious dudes(Keith and what's his name) = WTF.lol
Jessica's extremely hot but totaly unnecessary skimpy outfit and Rachel's Dead or Alive jugs + StarTrek eye covering hairdoo? More WTF.lol
The final battle held withing Queen Dido's amazing 'RE remake' inspired interior leading up to the final Boss? = Unforgettable!....But a short tease indeed Capcom!

Just 100%'d Super Mario 3D Land and Holy He-Man was it amazing. B-)

The most enjoyable 3D Mario I've ever played....The diversity in controls lent a great hand at that considering you can now perform a roll, 'roll jump'(My favorite) and mini leap + Galaxy's long leap/jump. Plus the run button, and 'little mario' make it feel like the ultimate 'classic' Mario experience
in 3D and the Tanooki suit is a wonderful retro addition which amplifies the fun factor by a mile.

The StereoScopic 3D is pretty darn amazing at times as well and makes the game come alive, almost as if you're staring into a little virtual world at times. phenomenal stuff and quite possibly one of the best 3D demonstrations to show to your friends. I couldn't bare playing it in 2D personally, 3D just makes
it look natural and super crisp.

And while the Special Worlds(after you complete the first 8) offer a great deal of challenge the further you progress, towards the end i felt a bit burnt out. I would of been completely satisfyed with completing the standard 8 worlds which were more memorable asthetically in comparison to the devilishly remixed & random special stages.. However, The special worlds are still a great bonus, and they will truly test your skills.... I honestly haven't played a more challenging Mario game than this and that's a good thing!, be it 2D or 3D...Especially when fetching the later star coins or trying to run from Clone Mario. Overall, it surpassed my expectations and as of now has definitly got to be my favorite 3DS title. Now...onto Steel Diver! :p

Metal Gear Solid: Snake Eater 3D. One of, if not the best game I have ever played on any system.

I'm playing through Snake Eater 3D right now and it is pretty great. I do have a few problems though:

1) It is meant as a console game - sometimes it is hard to see enemies on the small screen and there is almost too much detail at times.
2) Very little instruction is given as far as controls and gameplay. I had to do a bit of research to find out exactly how to play.
3) There is no way to simply start over from the last checkpoint or load your last save. In stealth games, if I get spotted I like to restart and try again. In Snake Eater, I have to just purposely kill myself with the help of enemies in order to start from the last checkpoint. What's with that?

Otherwise, it is a very solid game. 8/10 for me.

Just finished Kingdom Hearts: Dream Drop Distance! Beats out Tales of the Abyss as my favorite 3DS game (then again, I am a huge KH fan :P).

Seriously though, this is easily the best game in the series since KHII (ranks up there with KH & KHII in terms of quality, IMO. Also keep in mind I haven't played BBS, which I hear is also very good).

Flowmotion is a wonderful addition to the series, and I think it'll really let them open up the worlds once the series makes it's eventual debut on an HD system (Climbing up Notre Dame, Jumping around all the Skyscrapers in "the World that Never Was", and scaling the rides in "Prankster's Paradise" were very exhilarating).

The new monster collection aspect was also a very welcome addition to the series (and the fact that it really only works in the context of this game's story, makes it all that much more special).

Of course, the combat is as solid as ever (and the Command Deck system, which I believe was introduced in BBS, keeps things fresh & quick).

The story was also very riveting (especially for someone who has been closely following it, such as myself), with some wild twists & turns, and some revelations that had me on the edge of my seat. Oh, and the the final 4 or 5 boss fights were nothing but pure awesomeness (offering a heaping dose of series nostalgia, as well as some equally awesome new foes).

The only negative things I could really mention are the fact that the TWEWY characters & most of the Disney worlds featured didn't do much for me, but that's probably just me nitpicking, because I haven't played TWEWY or seen the movies those particular worlds were based off of (although Country of Musketeers, The Grid, & to a lesser extent Symphony of Sorcery were standout greats, IMO).

@RR529, glad you enjoyed it! The finale, with the final bosses back to back and all the plot twists, is my favorite thing about the game by far. I honestly don't know if I would have liked it as much if it weren't for everything towards the end. :D

Like you, the worlds didn't do much for me. So I wasn't completely head over heels for the game as things went on. Luckily things got tons better with the nostalgic blast from the past that is the final boss battles. :p

The original KH will always be my favorite, so I kinda hold all the newer ones at high criticism compared to that one. They just aren't the same anymore to me. Really looking forward to what KH3 will be like though, after that ending to 3D.

Yeah, the final world was probably one of the most epic moments in the series, and easily made the game for me (although I enjoyed Country of Musketeers as well).

I only wish that they would have found a way to include a Maleficent fight as well (my favorite out of the Disney villains). It was still awesome as is, though.

SM3DL is probably my favorite 3ds game. I finished it a while ago but only a few weeks ago beat Special 8-Crrown with Luigi. It's RIDICULOUSLY hard because it's really made for Mario and Luigi has slightly different controls that actually make it a lot harder.
