Look at the cartridge sticker.
If you see :
1. JAP = Japan
2. USA = USA / North America
3. PAL = Europe
4. ASI = Asia
Australia version use same PAL version.

@Anti-Matter There's far more regions than that.
Portables such as 3DS don't have NTSC or PAL because they don't need a TV.
JPN
USA
EUR
are the main ones, but each has several variations (for USA, there is also CAN region, probably more for Latin America. Likewise for Europe, there probably are country-specific codes like UKV, FRA, ESP, ITA...)

@KingMike
Ah, yes.
I forgot the specific country of PAL region. 😅

Let's not cause confusion by mentioning specific countries as that point is moot. The fact remains that European/Australian consoles will play "PAL region" cartridges across the board.

Likewise, Australian cartridges for first-party games are coded as AUS, as were first-party Switch games for the first year or so (now we just get the EUR cartridges instead).

"Gee, that's really persuasive. Do you have any actual points to make other than to essentially say 'me Tarzan, physical bad, digital good'?"
