Topic: 3DS Gamecube Remakes

Hey guys, you know how we're getting all these ports and remakes on 3DS? What about some Gamecube games? I would really like to see Super Mario Sunshine 3D. What do you guys think?

NO MORE REMAKES please unless they are of games that havent hit a Nintendo platform

I love my Gamecube, and I would love to have Sunshine in my pocket while I'm going to Uni.
I was really hoping for a remake of Luigi's Mansion but it looks like they've gone one step further by making a sequal.

Unless it involves a certain bounty hunter in first person....and her two sequels, then my answer is no.

We're getting some original games soon, like Super Mario and Mario Kart, I do agree I'm tired with remakes but they don't do Gamecube games a lot.

The 3DS is to close to the Gamecube in Generation wise to make remakes. Sorry but that's the truth,

I don't mind the idea of remakes, as long as they're accompanied by new games too.

Well, based on how many DS FPS's there are now-a-days, I'd say the idea isn't too far off, personally.

Oh yeah, and besides, the 3DS has enough buttons to duplicate the original Gamecube's controls if it wanted to. So I don't see controls being the problem, honestly. They could include both and give you the option to switch to whichever suited you better. Then everyone's happy.

Wind Waker would be great, but considering we got 2 sequels on DS and Miyamoto is more interested in A Link to the Past and Majora's Mask remakes, I don't know if that will happen. There's always a possibility though.

I guess the real question is: Does Nintendo want to port the games onto the 3DS, Since they (the first two at least) have already featured on two consoles.
To be honest, I wouldn't mind a fresh Metroid FPS on the 3DS.

Remakes? No. Sequels? Yes.

@Lord_pikky: Metroid Prime could also have the option of using the gyroscope.

Also, I think the system has the technology, I think it's about on the same level as Gamecube.

I'm torn up about whether I like remakes or not...
I enjoy playing through them again... But I'm not exactly rich.

I think we should have more original titles first, then remakes.
I think Time splitters though

Yeah, original titles are the most important thing.
Then remakes are just a little bonus on top.

No, it's better. There just wouldn't be a big difference between Wind Waker and Wind Waker 3D. It would be like an N64 game on DS.
