Probably $40+ for phsyical games. For VC games, my bet is 1000 points. For regular 3DSWare, probably the same prices as DSiWare.

Its been stated Here that the cost of the games may be almost at wii game price. I heard also in another forum that the games will be $10 higher than normal ds games.

I think $40 is about right for first party retail titles. There's been a fair amount of inflation and depreciation of the US dollar since the DS was first released, so it would make sense you'd see prices go up. Hopefully that will be the max price for the Mario/Zelda type games instead of $45. Of course, lesser known first party titles and 3rd party titles will be a bit cheaper.

I'd imagine 3DSWare will be priced similarly to DSiWare now. They can't really afford to go more expensive with that given app store competition.

My guess for VC is it will be similarly priced to the Wii:
Regular GB: 500 - It's an 8 bit system, like the NES.

Game Gear 500/600 - Hard to say here, it's in color, but was the same generation as the regular GB. I'd pay 600 for some of these games though. My old game gear isn't exactly portable by today's standards. (I brought it everywhere in '92-'93 though, so it was portable. Just not portable enough to fit into my purse).

GBC: 600 - Extra dollar for color.

GBA: 800 - About as powerful as the SNES.

I think it makes more sense for GBC games to be priced at 500, since the NES obviously had color, but I have a feeling Nintendo will know they can get that extra $ out of us. It's also a nice round number to start off with.

I am way too lazy to think of something clever.

I hope that 3DS games are either between $29.99 and $39.99 because PSP games are floating between that same price range as well. I can't imagine paying fifty dollars for a handheld console game just because it's 3D. I'm sure Nintendo won't go for fifty dollars as they are always trying to keep their games affordable anyway.

Considering that the listing at GameStop for Madden NFL Footbal 3DS was 40 bucks, I have high hopes. Then again....

I'm thinking that the games lowest price could go as low as $34.99 and the reg price would be $39.99. And for the EPIC games that come out, I'm thinking $44.99. but definitely not as much as a home console game.

Currently playing:
3DS: KI: Uprising
Wii: Xenoblade Chronicles

No price ranges for the device or its games have been confirmed at all. Please don't spread unsubstantiated rumours.

Here in the UK, £35-£40 sounds like a good bet. Not overly happy with paying that for most handheld games, though.

I hope GBC games are 500 points like NES games and GB games are either slightly less or come with better colour options like the Super GB rather than the dreadful GBC colour palettes. I hope the 3D Classics don't cost more than 100-200 points more than they are on the Wii -- like maybe 600 for NES games and 1000 for SNES games.

OBJECTION

Just making sure no one wanders into this thread and mistakenly thinks that prices have been announced. I somehow think that anyone who expects the 3DS's price to be as low as $200 will be in for a big disappointment.

Shovel ware/short games: will be the most cheapest priced at about $29.99-$34.99 Max.
Third Party Games: will be the medium priced games priced about $34.99-$39.99 Max.
First Party/Big Games: will be the most expensive games priced about $37.99-44.99 Max.
As for the 3DS handheld I'm estimating for about $199.99-249.99 Max. I don''t the 3DS will be over $215.99. Because I'm thinking that the next iPhone is going to have 3D gaming,
