They did say the eShop would be down until the new update came, so my guess it'll arrive on the 8th. The did say "before the 8th", so... yeah. The 8th.

I doubt it. The 3DS eshop went under maintenance before (I think) and it was just a general check to make sure eveerything was functioning ok. Although, if it is, bring it on!
But it's the 6th today. They're not going to take it down for over 24 hours. They're actually making money on one of their download services, and they don't want to screw that up

@eureka The eshop update came out the same day as Nintendo said it would in the morning. I woke up to go to school and i tried to update it and it did update! So i thin it will be out VERY late today, late tommorow or VERY early on the 8th

I just remember that the eShop came in on the date they promised, like, one minute before midnight or something. (probably was later, can't remember) And judging by past releases, when they say by the end, they mean at the very end. lol

I don't know about the GBA games, I think Nintendo would have at least said what the remaining five will be. I think it's much more likely for the update to be available soon, not the GBA games.
